My fern is still alive, from the clippings I got from my parents neighbor! I'm proud of myself for keeping the plant alive for this long haha.

Oh yeah! The train would be a good way to travel for sure! I'm sure Eric and i will get over that way eventually. We'd like to travel around the U.S. one day.

That's what I tell Eric too, he wants a puppy and I told him, I've trained two already, so it'd be all him for when we get one, I may input every once in awhile haha.

it all depends on the breed and age :) i am selling mine 7ea but the 3 dozen i bought to put in there will be 5ea as they are just a barnyard mix.

:O if the coop is crowded they have to be careful they don't start peeking each other.. once they taste blood they go cannibalistic and its not easy to stop.

of course. i think i suspected also. :( the only thing i'm sad about, is that there are no pictures. and she didn't have any friends with them. that makes me sad.

other wise, heh. I really don't care. I like the boy a lot, and he treats her really well. they get along great and they never argue. heh. in fact, they TRIED to think of something to argue about, and it was all "heh. I can't think of anything. Neither can I"

next year, you should get a big bucket and plant a veggie or 2. you can put it on your porch. as long as you remember to water it, they're pretty easy to take care of. (not like a 'garden' that you have to water AND weed. and make sure the animals stay out of)

, yah. they've had chickens for years. but I think that's what happen with us. of course, hub never did fix a proper chicken coop for them. :(

and , hahahaaa the man watches westerns ALL weekend long. especially on saturdays. that's his "TV day" :D and he really likes Longmire. so i'm glad I turned him on to that. (now he's complaining he needs a new tv, because his tv has problems getting Netflix. it's an old tv)

oh yea.. depending on some breeds/colours. there were some posted the same day as mine in the this area for 15 each and they sold before mine. i woulda took them but i think i may keep back some of the next batch, 5 at most because they aren't all mine. just had mine picked up, :) theres one around the areas that goes for a lot more i think they said $40 a chick or something. i can't remember it was in april when they were selling them.

WOW I can't imagine spending 60 bucks on chickens! lol but than, I CAN spend 60 on plants :D EASY :D so to each their own :D

, it's ok. I don't mind that much. I'm just sad about pictures (and yah. that they didn't invite any of their friends. but than. most of their friends are out of state now that university is over)

OH! and FLYINGKAT....they've been seeing each other for a couple of years now. and yah. grin. at first I was just grateful that it wasn't another loser. (the last one was a drug runner loser. it was HORRIBLE trying to keep my mouth shut)

and they (this one and her) started out as friends. that's always a good start on a real relationship.

but I told her, "Now I know why he hugged me like he did when I meant him"

hahahaaaa cause he HUGGED me, like FAMILY. not just a 'hug' that you might give your girl friends mom. :D

(and we HUG in this family. even to this day, my kids always give me a hug hello/goodbye)

I just made the prettiest omelet with shrimp, sprouts, arugula, green onions, cilantro and a bit of plain greek yogurt. And peach salsa on top. Was actually prettier than it tasted. LOL! Every Christmas my knees ache after wrapping presents so I say to myself I will sit on my knees everyday for a few minutes, and then I never do. :-P Your plants are looking good! And I can't believe how brave that hummingbird is. Any I see are gone in seconds.

Woah! I figured since you work with software all day you would be way more techy than that! I used to be able to fix anything on my PC and then they made operating systems too difficult for the average nerd. I even jail broke my first smart phone. I think possibly I'm not patient or smart enough these days.

I remember going to a drive-in with my mom and seeing Outlaw Josie Wells. I guess when you grow up on westerns...anyway I have Shanghai Noon on my DVR and if I ever feel too wound up to sleep all I have to do is start watching it and I go right out! lol How are you feeling?

I've never heard of feeding a critter sprouts! I started lentil and mung bean today. We'll see if they turn out. :-D

lol, you wouldn't want to know how much the rare all black chicken goes for, LOL xD i didn't know a plant could go for that much :O but i just made $40 on 6 chicks i hatched from my own hens last weekend :D

sprouts are really good for them, high is things, LOL fodder is one i need to do too but haven't gotten my lazy butt there yet, lol. just sold my chicks :D now to wait 3 weeks for the next batch i got going to hatch.

haha, i mean i don't the chicken, i like other varieties of the breed but the colour that is so rare not so much, haha xD if my chicks from my buff orpington were pure, i coulda got 10 each but i don't have a buff rooster, haha

maybe you misunderstood, I am still pretty 'techie' in some ways...

It's my stepfather's 13 year old desktop that he only uses for solitaire and wifi maintenance (I think). maybe it was unclear, I was typing it when not fully awake.

I can still fix just about everything wrong with my PC eventually, I don't enjoy doing it though so I don't want to do it again if I don't have to. And since I'm fixing bugs for work all the time I want to just have fun at home... (though sometimes I fix bugs for fun too, I have to admit to it, I have helped some maintainers of sites I use to figure out their bugs)

My current PC is about 3 years old and is doing well. I can write programs on it (like to solve Squirrel puzzles or create a locked room game or something else fun, or to do tax math or whatever NOT fun thing I need too) and I can play games on it (mostly with Steam but also some non-Steam games) and I have 6 different web browsers ...

Right now there's a bug on my work PC which makes the cursor jitter sometimes when I open files. I'm pretty sure I know what caused it (Turtle git plugin) but I need that plugin so I just remove it and reinstall it and that "fixes" it till it returns... ugh.

Phones though... I've heard of jail breaking them and I have considered I might need to (just to get more of the apps off the main memory onto the SD card) but it's kind of annoying work to do, I think... so I haven't bothered to try yet...
