Hello, so for April Fools Subeta lodge is upside down. I am using google chrome. I am in no ways not enjoying the joke i am just unable to turn my monitor upside down. :(
Subetalodge is not actually a part of, or officially affiliated with Subeta(dot)net as a company, so this is better suited in a different forum. General Discussion, maybe??
that said, I don't think there's currently a way to turn it right side up. :c maybe later in the day.
Not sure if it helps or only makes things worst because the mouse also flips but you can turn your monitor upside down by pressing ctrl + alt + down arrow. You can also try using on mobile by locking the auto-rotate.
Sadly doesn't seem to work :C Darn it!
Yeah, I have the same beef with it. I'll just avoid Subetalodge for the day. 😐
It was kinda funny at first, but I gave myself a headache trying to find the button or link that would disable it. Spoilers: there is no button. Or link.
Subetalodge is a fansite and is not run by or an official part of Subeta. The site is run by other Subeta players.
You could try Subetalodge's own forums - link here (again, not affiliated officially with Subeta)
Moving to General Discussion.

, I did the same thing but sadly no luck as well. It's a nice joke but wish I could shut it off ;-;
, apologies bug! I wasn't sure where to post this and also where it would even belong!
I agree that it's frustrating. I get that it's only for the day, and I mean, anything I was going to use the site for can wait, but that's not necessarily the case for everyone who finds the site unusable on a holiday + weekend day when most people would be off of work.
I hope everyone finds time on another day to get their checklists worked on (or whatever you need the site for)
I completely agree. I was avidly working on a wardobe and collection list and wanting to look at objects in monthly boxes but can’t do that anymore.
Hopefully it won’t damage anyone’s plans too much.
It is driving me mad. I get this one day off and trying to account search my last 20 pages of foods for Poky. It has taken ages to do 20 to 24 because it hurts my head :(
I don't think it's a good joke. If that would be easily reversible (like really non-harmful jokes and games google or other pages prepare for today) with one click or link or refresh, would be cool. Otherwise, it's just a huge pain in the behind.
heyy! c: if you're willing to install an extension (a super useful one too if you plan to code profiles etc as well), you can flip it downside up and back to normal.
install stylus for chrome // or for firefox
go to subetalodge.org
in the top right where you see the extension, click it, then click on the "subetalodge" part like so:
SPOILER (click to toggle)
add this code to the textbox, then hit Ctrl+S to save:
{transform: none;}SPOILER (click to toggle)
and there you go! back to normal.
Agh, Thank you SO MUCH!! It worked great. Hopefully more people see your post!!
Wondering was this was all about and went to Subetalodge myself to see.... Um...yeah... not really feeling this joke. Impressive coding by the staff to make this but kinda of a pain for the userbase.

Or, and I know this is really an out of the box suggestion, you could just ask our staff how to fix it.
Hey, I know this is a really wild idea, but please hear me out - it could have a clear toggle from the start instead of you telling your users to track the site's staff down during a major religious holiday in order to disable something that cripples site usability. 😐
I enjoy a silly, harmless April Fools prank. Pretty sure most people do. But when you shove it down people's throats all day and make it impossible for them to use your site? Kinda stops being funny real quick.
Also, your own users posted about this on the SL forums. With no staff response telling them how to disable it. So... Did you want us to go commenting and mailing your staff on Subeta about help on how to fix this, or...? Just curious.
I understand it's a silly April Fools prank but when it formats a website to an unusable state, then that's purely annoying. Especially when most people are having a day off today and need to use the site for collections, etc.
I just hope that next time, a toggle button would be great to have to make the prank more bearable.
Hey, I know this is a really wild idea, but a little politeness goes a long way. Words like 'please' still have an effect.
Yes, people posted about it on the SubetaLodge forums. They all posted to complain that they didn't enjoy it; not one of them posted to ask about a solution.
There's a reason why we didn't post a "clear toggle from the start" -- today is also Easter, and Easter Eggs are meant to be hidden.
thanks for the tip, .
