I ended up sort of giving the gag gift; but 2 of my sons said you don't give a gag gift without a real gift back-up. His girlfriend said it is a great gift, because they need batteries (she is not american, missed the gag part entirely). They are going to be in for a surprise when the batteries don't work... Ooops. Oh well.

It was wonderful last night with everyone here! (even though they weren't ALL here at the same time for a full family picture). The part that is sad-making is not being well off enough to buy presents for everyone. I mean,. why work so hard and never do anything but pay bills (and buy food) with it? Yeesh.
