Everybody excited about Luminaire, Hannuka (sp) and Christmas? Slowly but surely getting all of our Christmas decorations up. The kids decorated the tree which means I spent a while moving decorations around after they went to bed. I need to get my wreaths out. I have one for my front door and a large one for over the fireplace. I made them both. I'm getting stuff at Michael's to make a wreath for my sister who is visiting this week. I have these adorable elves in three sizes that we put near the tree but my granddaughter Penelope (2) has taken two of them to play with. She likes to take two stuffed toys, dolls etc. and put them on both knees while she sits on the floor. Sometimes she just stares at them. Sometimes she kisses them or makes them kiss each other. And lots of times she makes them sing or have conversations with each other. It's adorable until one of the toys doesn't sit right on her lap or their hair/ears/eyes don't do exactly what she wants them too. Then she throws them and starts kicking and screaming. Really not too fun. There are certain toys we've had to hide because she always gets mad at them. Yeah... she's in her Terrible Twos and is very good at throwing fits.
