were you referring to eye issues with your HA? If so, then, hey, maybe I am psychic! XD lol. Hopefully if for real, you feel better soon! Is Malu's eye okay? Spooky's eyes are runny, but the vet doesn't seem worried. He's currently on steroids to see if it helps his coughing. No such luck yet. I think we'll be going back to the vet again soon.

He is on pred? That makes him fidgety, too. Very young for long coughing also........ Perhaps, there is a cat specialist in your area somewhere? ^-^

Malu has Hew-Syndrome at the time being. I only gave him eye drops so they won´t get too dry. It comes from his enteric condition. He is playful and all and otherwise healthy yet the damn protozoons can claim his body for 5 months until 2 years and there isn´t really a treatment.

I will definitely look for a cat specialist. I hadn't thought of that, but I do feel like my vet isn't taking it seriously. I called 2 days in a row about the concern for his runny eyes and nobody has gotten back to me. (I called twice)

I have not heard of Hew-syndrome. I am sorry he has to go through that. I hope he doesn't have too many bad days. <3

I thought of these specialists bc my vet has a special education in USA, UK and Australia so he could become a cat only vet. He is always up to date with diseases and treatments and I think that´s a lot better than when a vet has to treat all kind of animals.

Among others, Hew Syndrome is caused by endotoxins or metablic products from gastroenteric infections. I hope it´ll pass soon.
