I am glad they don´t use glutamat like Asian restaurants often do. It gives me a headache. They even do soya chicken and it´s all crispy and tasty!

- I would love to visit Germany one day! I've been to Canada many times as we were just a few hours away as a kid. Toronto was closer to us than New York City, so we would go there for our big city adventures. Crossing the border was also a lot easier back then. We don't even have passports, so that would be a challenge. And having a child, both parents have to be present to get the child a passport (too many instances of one parent getting the passport and fleeing the country with the kid).

I have always wanted to learn to knit and crochet, but it doesn't seem that valuable a skill unless you live somewhere cold. Making hats and scarves seems like it would be helpful, but we don't need those here in south Florida. Making little toys would be cute, too, like these:

Thank you! My grandmother is an inspiration for me when it comes to sewing and quilting. She gave my two cousins and myself our own sewing boxes to keep our supplies and work in when visiting. I'd love to make a quilt for our son one day cause those keep for a lifetime :)

She isn't able to sew anymore since her eyesight in both eyes has gotten worse, but she still likes to tell stories about her quilts.
