they can lay every day but usually 4-6 days a week. it all depends on the hen. :)

And have you been keeping the eggs for yourself or selling them?

just keeping the eggs for myself.. don't have enough layers to sell 'em.. plus i would rather hatch 'em :)

haha, nope the hens are with the rooster, the hen lays fertile eggs as long as the rooster is doing his duty ;)

mine were.. they all grew but the eggs i purchased from another lady contaminated them. i'm not sure why hers weren't either.. she has like a million roosters. but i won't be getting anymore from her.

Ah, I didn't know some eggs could contaminate others. More eggs, hopefully everything will go smoothly! Does it take a long time for chicks to 'mature'? And yeah, best to avoid too much relatedness. xP Yeah, the brown one is really cute, I can see why you would want that color. Hopefully more with that coloration hatch!

I knew the theater had been updated, but forgot about the seats. It was quite comfortable. c: Some other people brought blankets, but I didn't. And yeah, the prices really are ridiculous. The food prices are insane, you know they mark up that popcorn so much (considering how they buy it in bulk). We snuck in some snacks, but still the popcorn/drinks/nachos was expensive for the rest of my family. Glad to hear it was good! I may have to check it out, but I'm mostly waiting for the next Fantastic Beasts in November. c;

they can if there is something wrong yes, but you can't tell. its all done through the air, there was no foul smell so i thought things were okay. will be starting eggs tomorrow, and here's to hoping. the chicks should be fully feathered out by 4-6 weeks and they can go outside but they don't start laying until 5-6 months. sadly the brown one won't stay that colour.. they are all gonna look different soon. i will only be hatching my own next and i get the yellow (only 6 eggs, since she passed) and a black.. but not like the one this time that one is from someone else's and has feathered feet. actually if you seen the picture of the first batch i did where i hatched 6 out of 10 eggs, those were my own eggs.

Hmm, that's interesting. I wonder how exactly that comes about. Aw, fully feathered sounds adorable, haha. Really? Won't stay brown? Reminds me of how kittens eye color can change. The yellow and black are still cute, though. Feathered feet? So your eggs are more reliable then.

yea i think the 1-2 that she gave me that were dirty did them in :/ they look really funny until they are fully feathered out. nope, well have you seen a yellow chicken, LOL yea they are gonna change. haha yea, he either has cochin or brahma in him to give the feathered feet. they are.. we will see when i start it up today and 3 weeks how things go.

Speaking of Fantastic Beasts.. we had both been wanting to see that so we watched it at home the other day.. I was actually SO disappointed with it! We ended up turning it off half way through.. it just didn't suck either of us in.

I jsut asked my sister and it's literally the Raleigh Beer Garden xD I've heard that's a fun place to hang out. Carboro has a lot of local shops and great places to eat! You should check it out if you ever get the chance.

My problem is I just hate the gym. I have no problem running outside... but the heat is slowly getting to me. Guess what? I passed my license exam. IDK if you remember all the way back me complaining just about undergrad... trying to figure out what I was going to do after I graduate because I didn't get matched with an internship program first try... well look where I am now :p

Oh my gosh, CONGRATS!! What does that mean for you now?! Heat? You want to complain about heat?! We're in a heatwave right now. Up to 47C yesterday (110F) and we have no AC.

Aw, sorry to hear you didn't like it! I went into it without high expectations, and I really liked it when I saw it in theaters. I need to buy it, so that I can watch it again. Maybe my opinion will change. What my sister and I didn't understand is why they would hire Johnny Depp to be Grindelwald (at the end of the movie and the next one). Plus, in the new movie, all the wizards are wearing suits! I wouldn't force yourself to finish it if you didn't like it, though.

Raleigh Beer Garden is such a creative name. xP It seems like it would be fun. I'll have to check Carboro out sometime. Later this summer, I'm going with family to Charlotte for a few days, should be fun. I suppose this summer involves moving for you?
