I've been getting errors off and on all week, but it was really bad earlier today. I couldn't connect. I kept getting: "This page isn’t working subeta.net is currently unable to handle this request."
I'm using Opera version 49, but it seems like these issues aren't related just to one browser.

Wth...? I was partway thru a quest last nite when I get this message, subeta cannot handle that request....I'm only just rite now able to access the site again.....very frustrating and most annoying
It's very surprising to be getting so many errors now with the event over! I' been getting all of the above mentioned errors on both Chrome and Firefox.

Ugh, the site keeps crashing and pages take forever to load. It's kind of hilarious that problems are happening now that the event is over, but still :/

I've been seeing 504 errors every few minutes for the last few days.
I couldn't even enjoy the last part of the site event because of it so I missed out on the battle challengers.
I just got another 504 error while trying to pick up my pets from training.
I'm using Windows 10 Microsoft Edge browser. Thank you kindly ❤.

The lag is getting annoying now. :(
The site will run fine for a few minutes then lag for a longer time or just pop up a 504 error, blank page, lag, then run ok.

Yes, this^ It's super frustrating and makes doing anything you want to on the site take much more time than it should.

Guys, I know that this is frustrating, but lets try to keep the idle chatter to a minimum. If you have a new error to report or something to add, that is great! We are trying to figure out the issues currently and will try and let you know when we figure things out!

- Thank you for an update. A bunch of us have been having problems with no word from anyone that staff is even aware that it's still a problem. That's why we keep posting. You're the first staff member to post on this thread in the past three weeks. Thank you for letting us know that we are being heard.
I promise that we lurk a lot more than we post. I know even that can be frustrating. But I do try and keep an eye on as many boards as possible and report when I can!

We read every post here, which is why we asked to keep idle chatter to a minimum.
This topic isn't so much a bug report as it is just letting us know there's still 504s, 503s, and lag sometimes. We're aware of this, we've been aware of it, and as we've explained in the past, the efforts to address these issues are steady and ongoing.
In recent months, we've done a lot with the intention of addressing lag and errors, and we have been seeing a difference. Here are a few of the things we've done lately:
- We upgraded our PHP to the latest major version.
- We moved our servers to better infrastructure.
- We improved caching in the item vault.
- We installed new code monitoring tools to help us target inefficient parts of the code.
- We re-indexed a large database table (battle records) to make it more efficient.
- We've been rewriting and refactoring slow queries and refactoring old code.
- We removed a layout dependency that was bloating every page load.
- We also tried a bunch of things that we haven't kept, but were worth trying, like file caching with HAs - which we may bring back in the future. Not everything we try ends up working out, but it's a process.
You can rest assured that staff is not only aware, but constantly working on solutions. I understand it's frustrating when your personal experience doesn't match up, but we have been doing quite a lot to address this and we have seen a lot of improvement overall.

The lag has been really bad lately... it feels like there's tons of people online and the site struggles yet.... hardly that many people on the site just acts sluggish and crashes or just... takes forever to do stuff.
I know stuff is happening behind the scenes, I get it... just lag can be frustrating is all.
- Quick question for you - Does it help you to know when we're experiencing lag problems so that you can look at specific dates and times in site logs? If it really doesn't help you at all, then I will stop posting on this thread when I have a genuine problem using the site. I honestly only post on this thread if the site is truly unusable for me, and I feel like I bashing my head against a wall would be a more productive use of my time.

Ive been getting such bad lag lately in the afternoon Subeta time it made it impossible to quest or do anything - even feed the animal. Also, I couldn't buy anything from the user shops so I just had to quit.

First 504 since several weeks. Lag seems to be picking up again as well.
Also, what said. I'm mainly posting the error in case a specific timestamp is needed (19:19 is one hour behind on my time, it's 3:19 PM subeta time). If that's not the case, I won't post these anymore, so just let us know! ^_^
