I think they're a reference to something from The Walking Dead (a series involving zombie stuff).
I had a sneaking suspicion it was Walking Dead related but I wasn't sure XD

i didn't feel like going and getting my calculator for the zombie den items, so it's. very rough math but. i wanted to (sort-of) know The Total (heart eyes @ those foregrounds)
slightly updated estimates
it's roughly 1444 candy hearts to get one of each new louis item.
one of each new zombie den item is roughly 4m (3m and a bit for one of each new wear + 250k for books + ??? a lot more for other collectibles, etc)
515 candy hearts + 75k for only food 100 candy hearts + 250k for only books (the first aid pages are not books)
