Everyone says it will all work out. I suppose that's true. It will work out, it will continue, we will end. Que Sera, sera.
"How can I be so distracted in such a situation?" I wondered. "Stop thinking like that. Right now, you've got to survive!" I decided to listen to my body AND the voice in the distance. I focused on my hunger and ran in the direction of the nearest restaurant.
Tacos! That will do! As i walked into the taco joint something catches my eye in the corner...
Ridiculous! A jukebox...and my cat finding quarters! Ping...ping...ping...they rolled across the floor as my cat dropped them.
"Mimi, there you are!" I grabbed my cat and, as the pinging from the quarters stopped, I noticed how eerily quiet it was.
Suddenly, I realized that all the insects and birds had gone silent. I couldn't hear cars in the distance either. Ecstatically, my cat, Mimi began to speak.
"Such a fun time!" she meowed. "Finally we're all alone so you can snuggle me forever!" Rain started falling outside, at least, I thought that's what I was hearing. Going from my extensive knowledge of horror movies, I knew this couldn't be a good sign...
Nevertheless, I could simply not refuse such cuddly snuggles.
