My reasoning is that people stick stickers to my album even if I don&;t like them or if they don&;t represent me. In real life, sticker collections represent personalities.
Yes, 100%!
I like 's idea of being an item from The Hustler like Goo Gone that would get rid of stickers for us. It would also, I think, be a good money sink if the stickers don't return to inventory.
Same! If it needs to be a permanent fixture, maybe he has a heat gun? We use those at the bookstore, as well as lighter fluid, oddly enough, to remove stickers from books!

I REALLY HOPE THAT SUBETA STAFF CONSIDERS THIS SUGGESTION.
It looks like a neat idea, thanks OP for opening the discussion and for the input.

I support this! I hate having multiples of stickers, it makes me feel really uncomfortable looking at my sticker page. I'd also love it if we could have album pages to organize it better.

And having it set up like the Plushie/Beanbag collections would be awesome. Seeing all the ones I'm missing would make collecting them so much better!

Oh yes, I'm all for this as well. I'd love to remove all these unwanted multiple stickers.

One thing though. Let's get an option to decide if we want multiple stickers or not. I mean, every other collection doesn't allow multiples. Yeah, sure, stickers are maybe something different, but to keep it neat and pretty multiples should be something that we can avoid in general. Otherwise, some might end up spending a fortune every now and then just because someone thought it would be sweet to stick them something into their album, probably not knowing that they'd feel bad about it.

So, "unstuck" Service and an option to avoid multiple stickers would be grant.

This would be nice for people who may want to remove duplicates or certain stickers from their album. Having it as another service from Hustler sounds good.

The removed sticker should be lost, but this could also be an opportunity to introduce new stickers to Hustler. I could see him giving out damaged stickers.
I love the Idea of the hustler selling a sticker removal service and then selling the damaged stickers. They would be a neat TC item, I'd have to create a new pet to collect them!

Oh this would be amazing. The Hustler having a 'sticker removal' service would be incredible. I have SO many stickers that I no longer want or need...

All the support. I hate the duplicates haha. I appreciate the sentiment but sometimes I know it's because of quest requirements and like..just let me destroy the extras please.

I'm all for this idea. I hate having duplicates in my collection, and I would GLADLY throw money down to get rid of them. Delete them entirely, charge me up the wazoo, that's fine, just let me clean house!

In addition to this, a preference for controlling who can stick stickers in your collection (everybody, nobody, or friends only) would be really nice. I don't really want people I don't know sticking stickers to me, but my mom and I sticker each other all the time. It'd be nice if there was a filtering option for that.

Mega support on this!

Don't mind: sP sink Do mind: destroyed upon removal --- mega no-no in my humble opinion here -- clear exemple why: some stickers are ultra expensive, let's say someone thinks i wanted i wanted on stuck, but i in fact needed it for a TC (happened more than once) i'd be hella thankful to be able to simply remove it (fee or no fee, that part i wouldn't mind!) and put it where i want it n__n

What if there were two price options for removing stickers? Option 1: remove the sticker and have the item destroyed, could cost 100k sP. Option 2: remove the sticker intact, could cost 1 million sP. This option should probably then bring the user to a list of options of where to move the sticker, to a gallery, the vault, or a TC. (I'm just throwing out numbers, the prices could be higher or lower).

mmh! yeah! not megaaa excited about it but also not a bad way to see it at all n_n would def. need to be cheaper and also not sure if staff would be into implementing something that "elaborate" but... who knows! it's def. not a no-no in my book n_n

Prices could definitely be lower. Option 1 could be 10k, since that it what it the Hustler charges you to put a sticker in your album and option 2 could be 100k (those are prices that I would fine with paying). I was just throwing numbers out there and went for the higher end that I wouldn't enjoy paying for the feature but would still entice me to use it. The list of where to move the sticker for option 2 does make it more elaborate and could always be left out. That was just my way of thinking of how to prevent the sticker from going into a shop to be sold.

I think it would make more sense to have an option just to have the sticker be destroyed. If there were any sort of option to keep the sticker intact, that could definitely be abused by people using it to remove expensive stickers from their albums to sell them again, or getting them just for achievements and then removing them.

Having the option to remove unwanted stickers that have been stuck to you would be a good thing, but don't bring the stickers back after they're removed.

If you have stickers that you don't actually want stuck to your album, put a note on your profile page or something (although this is why WL notes would be super handy as well). And if a sticker is that expensive, the gifter should probably just send it to the person directly instead of making an assumption like that. An option to not let other people put stickers in your album would fix that issue too though.

Yeah, I'm really not in favor of being able to keep the stickers after the fact (edited the OP to make this more clear). I'm also absolutely in favor of being able to turn off getting stuck with stickers at all. I'm pretty sure I supported that on a thread somewhere along the way, but I don't really have time at the moment to find it. I do have a note on my profile, but I still get hit from people doing Drills quests (I assume) on occasion, and they have no reason to even go to my profile for that.

I sympathize with getting an expensive sticker stuck to you that you didn't want for your album, but I still don't think it should be possible to remove it intact unless it's an absolutely insane price that wouldn't really be worth it for most stickers. That might be something preventable by how you organize your WL, too. I have a category for stickers, but only album stickers go there. If I need one down the road for a TC or some reason, it goes in a different category. "Stickers for album" and "Stickers for TC" labels or a "Stickers for TC -Don't stick" or something might help a little bit too, in the meantime

I have an add on suggestion for this. If there was a way to have multiple pages in your sticker album, that would allow for more organization and you could stick the "unwanted" stickers on a different page and have the option to choose which page you wanted to have on default display. That might solve a lot of the aesthetic issues.

I know multiple pages has been suggested before but honestly it wouldn't help me, personally, because it's not a matter of not wanting a particular sticker in my album, it's a matter of not wanting more than one. And unless you can set the number of stickers displayed per page manually, it might not help others who don't want a particular sticker in their album at all because if they only want a few specific stickers for one reason or another, the unwanted one might still end up on the first page. I'm not against it or anything, but it doesn't really solve the problem (for me at least)

I still have No Support for this idea. I think pretty much every Suggestion here pretty much violates the whole original purpose of having stickers in Subeta. Being able to remove and have a chance at all to keep the removed sticker would cheapen the efforts of those who got any currently existing sticker Achievement, so those should all be retired if they become recoverable.

I dunno what anyone else's junior high school was like, but the likelihood of you keeping complete control of your sticker book and not seeming like a jerk that nobody wanted or would want to enstickerate would've been impossible. You were going to get stickers you didn't want.

But that's just it they were stickers just for the fun of it they were cheap and not like rare stamps or anything. If you got duplicates, this just meant you had lots of friends and they all had the same taste, because c'mon, you're in JHS and they're stickers. And you could sticker over a sticker you hated, or destroy it and maybe the page and possibly harm whatever was on the other side if you hated it. Or draw on it or glue a bunch of glitter over it so that a sticker was there was known but not what the sticker was. Of if it made a hole where no sticker was you'd put a larger sticker on the other side and then cornstarch, resticker or stickynote the original side. The likelihood of just removing it intact? Not very.

The prices paid for some stickers here on Subeta is a feature of Subeta controlling the means of production of stickers and because users here ARE looking at them like rare stamps of which you'd only need one. There is a disconnect between reality and Subeta. Treating them like rare stamp collections? That's what the other collections are for those collections are exactly like collected stamps: nobody's sitting in or playing toss-and-spin versions of tick tack toe with your beabags, they are immortalized in a museum.
