"Keeping an eye on things" doesn't sound super proactive... I really appreciate that you're working on it, but can we get a brief update beyond that? A little communication can go a long way.

What is going on? Status site isn't updated and looks like it hasn't been touched since October 15th, and "we're keeping an eye on it" is a bit too vague when the site's flipping out this badly.

First time in a loooong time I got the "checking your connection" before I can get on the site.

What exactly does that mean? I just got that for the first time ever. I'm amazed that people are saying how hard quests are. I'm still fighting to get through dailies. Another ddos? That's insane! Must be true though with Destiny saying it's being watched. We'll get a full update from either Keith or Amber when things return to normal. Right now the Team must be fighting this with everything they've got. All we can do is be patient and let them do their jobs.

Has the DDoS check up been brought back because the site is under attack again? Why is always happening around the holidays lmao.

Good luck to and other programers working in the background. [Edit] Usually, this form of messages is to keep these DDoS at bay (mainly trying to make the bot gtfo). You can often seen them on streaming websites, manga websites and such. I'm sure we will get explanation in due time. I'd be worried if the site was being let alone but I'm sure someone is working rn to find who targeted the site.

@ far You're right. ._. It's just that, after all the DDoS crap Subeta's dealt with in the past, I have a really bad taste in my mouth whenever I see the DDoS page on Subeta. First thought is: "oh gods, not this shit again..."

Now things are loading a bit quicker for me, but HAs are all broken images. At least it seems like some progress is being made, hopefully it can be resolved soon. <3

Thank goodness I checked the forums. I thought I was the only one with having these problems. I was trying to update my avatar when none of my items or outifts would load. So I tried doing the "convert" thing but only ended up messing things up more. :P

I hope this does get fixed soon.

Thank you for the explanation. I know these attacks are generally directed towards big companies ("look at me, I brought Google down!") so it's hard to fathom why someone like that would be interested in a pet site. Since it has happened before I'm wondering if it's the same person??? I don't know, maybe someone who was frozen.

Yeah, I got the same checking page. It kinda worried me because I was paying half ass attention and just updated my computer.

I got the same thing when I first got on Subeta today. It really threw me off because I thought it was my laptop acting weird. Good to know I'm not the only one this happened to! I'm with everyone on this lag, takes ages for a page to load. Avatar's won't load, tried doing quests and that took forever so had to stop.

This explains why the site has been lagging and why the HAs aren't available. I can't see anybody's HA....But, the site always lags and acts up whenever there's an event or holiday going around on Subeta. Seriously. It always happens.

Yesterday was impossible to play. I thought this was happening because of the Brazilian internet provider. Now I see por people dealing with the same problem. Also, all avatar users are missing. They just don't load. Hope this can be solved (sorry if I wrote some sentences wrong ;-; )

Hubby and I have both had bad lag since joining a few days ago. Today has been much worse. I came here to find out if it was normal since we are new or if the site was having problems. Hope the lag breaks soon, but I can remember dial up and how long it took to load so I can be patient.
