Right now what is up is I am sick. Head and stomach. Chronic migraines stink and I might have the flu, but can't tell because I have too many overlapping conditions. My dad is also having trouble and he went to the ER and found out he has a fracture in his spine and we don't know how or when. Sigh.

Hi! <3 There's some fun challenges on Facebook right now and I'm on LOTS of them. The thing is: someone creates a FB group of a thematic thing (Dragon Ball challenge, Game of Thrones challenge, 90's cartoons challenge, Disney challenge). So a lot of artists join if interested and pick a character from a list (obviously there's lots of fights over the most popular ones, but first come first serve). And they give you a few months to draw your character on your own style. I'm on a Castlevania challenge, a JoJo one, a 2D Videogame Fighting challenge and a Final Fantasy one. And they all end on december. Sadly I never saw these challenges in english, but I love to see all the different styles and it is a great chance to get to know new artists. :3

This is going to sound like a bunch of randomness but to answer this last prompt- Right now I'm just trying to survive work and get through the holidays! Been working overtime and we're also doing serious end of the year stuff that is stressful. As far as christmas,, Too many presents, not enough money. But on the plus side.. I've been able to watch a few christmas movies when I do have time off and that's fun! I think I broke a rib (or majorly messed up some muscles) two weeks ago? It's been hurting since then but I was in and out of the hospital for ever this year due to a really bad illness so the last thing I want to do is go in for it. So i'm just gonna suffer lol. Luckily I'll have some time off after christmas so it's something to look forward to! Subeta stuff- I've been working on pet overlays and profiles lately for my pets. :)

Also Star Wars is coming out in a few days and i'm just SO EXCITED for it!

I just finished my last paper for finals!!!!! And my favorite show, The Librarians, had their season premier tonight - I just finished watching the first two episodes. ALSO, I'm having a "Pancake and Potter Party" tomorrow with my friends. We're going to make all sorts of pancakes and show my roommate Harry Potter for the first time. She's never read the books or seen the movies, so we've finally managed to make her agree in celebration of the end of finals!

same kind of thing going on for me almost as you... work stuff is tough going into the holidays for me. My husband pulled a muscle in his ankle or something and is limping around and complaining about it but won't go to the doctor.

And I am really looking forward to seeing Star Wars this weekend (going on Saturday is the plan currently)

yess staycation it's the best. Today my husband and I watched a Harry Potter movie together so that was nice. Although I'm sorry we're connecting over such blue circumstances (not getting into the holly jolly crap) but honestly it's nice to not feel so alone.

it will only effect outside US people indirectly. You won't have to pay extra to see some sites but if the people who create content can't afford to access platforms, many of the sites you visit may suffer. (Example, you have to pay extra to access Subeta so many of your fellow users may not be able to play anymore.)

What's up for me right now is exams... I've got two Monday evening and then one Tuesday morning, in literally 3 consecutive timeslots. Even if I survive the exams, I'm gonna instantly freeze solid the moment I step out into the Canadian winter at 9pm. Whoopee!

I love TAZ! (Is your HA Kravitz? It looks great.) I've been slowly re-listening to Balance with a friend and picking up on things I missed the first few times around. I also really liked Commitment, I wish these experimental arcs weren't so short because I love every character the McElroys has ever created.

There are constant stink bugs in my house and I'm excited to return to college after a long break caused by anxiety next fall :D

So right now I have a lot going on, but let's talk about something fun - vacation! Actually, this is turning out to be a little more stressful than fun right now. Reason being, my boyfriend and I initially wanted to do a vacation together since usually our vacations are separated. Either I am home with my family for the holidays or he is home to see his so this was the first year we wanted to do something together. Then my director invited us to go on vacation with him and his family since his family considers us to be a part of the family now. I hope you are still following all this haha. Anyway, so that was fine we could do a big vacation together. However, my boyfriend then gets invited to THREE weddings this year, all happening at different times of the year. There is at least one of them we have to go to, but there is no way we have enough vacation time or money to do all three weddings AND do a vacation outside the country =/

oh man, I haven't watched an HP movie in so long! I've been jonesing to read the books again lately, but I'm smack in the middle of Ready Player One and can't bring myself to abandon it to read something I've read multiple times before!

Which one did you watch? I know it bothered some folks, but I really enjoyed when they became more "movies" and less "literal retelling of the book"... I think it was with book 3? Prisoner of Azkaban?

And man, I just looked it up and saw that the first movie came out in 2001. I was such a baby then! <3

My oldest is about to turn three. Instead of having a party, we are driving down to Galveston to go to Moody Gardens because he requested to see penguins for his birthday.

What's up is that my weekend has suddenly become very busy... but in a good way!

My friend from home is in town and wants to go see a screening of "The Room" that Tommy Wiseau is going to be at. :o I've never seen the movie but I've wanted to for a while due to its... er... interesting reputation! Can anyone who's seen it tell me what to expect?!

Then Saturday, my friend is coming over to marathon Yuri On Ice (she's never seen it but really wants to!) and then we're going out with another friend. I'm excited! :3

We just adopted a kitten today! I'm super pumped. He doesn't have a name yet, and I'm having a REALLY hard time coming up with one :( I'm sure I'll think of the perfect one eventually, but I'm so so happy, it's been a long time since I've had a loving cat to brighten up my life (and lap!)

We watched HP & The Chamber of Secrets. I kind of restarted rereading the first book a while ago but it's difficult to devote time to a book I've already read several times when there's so many other new things to read. IDK how I ever used to reread books tbh.

My cat has been hospitalized since Wednesday. Tuesday, she was eating, drinking, playing... And Wednesday, she could barely even lift her head. She gets a feeding tube tomorrow. I'm really nervous because this is dangerous in her weakened state but it's also her best chance. Ive been visiting her when I can, giving her lots of love and attention. The vet said the visits help perk her up. She's only 9 and she's a tough cat, queen of the house. She'll make it. She has to. Edit: we do know what it is. Just need to get her eating and drinking on her own again.
