Oh my gosh I used to have that game!!! I moved last year and decided to sell it instead of move it. facepalm I'd already had it for about a year but couldn't get anyone to play it with me - no one I know in RL is into Lovecraft so the game seemed to involved :(

Yeah, it can be tough to find a group of people who are both into gaming and lovecraft. Actually, its pretty tough finding tabletop gamers at all anymore. I'm in a "group" with just the DM and me. We aren't playing Cthulhu, we're playing a variant of D&D, but its strange being the only player.

Its fun in that there's no fights about who gets the good treasure, no fighting for the DMs attention, no sitting around while another character role plays their specialty and such. But there's also no one to spark ideas off of nor anyone to turn to if I'm simply out of ideas.

Once I was on an adventure where I had to clear a ghost from a dungeon. I killed the ghost, but I knew he'd come back and I couldn't think of how to permanently get rid of him with my skill set. Then my boyfriend who had arrived to pick me up said "supernatural" and I was like, duh of course! Find and burn the bones!

I actually make cat flower crowns all the time, I've been meaning to open an etsy to sell them, and he is my purrrfect little poser boy! He really is the biggest ball of fluff and love. 18 pounds of pure angst and laziness. I'm the only person he likes, and he is so protective of me it's adorable. He will let me do pretty much anything at all to him, its wonderful!

Gunner has a whole closet of clothes! He actually seems to enjoy wearing them too!! (His sister on the other hand, not so much.... lol) Also, I had no idea that stargate even existed!!!! I adore Stargate SG-1. My boyfriend and I even named our newest Crested Gecko after Carter! My sweet little Captain Carter ->

I've never played D&D - I think I'm too shy to play it. And if you really want to make sure to get rid of that problem, don't forget to salt the bones too ;) lol

Oh man Gunner is so gorgeous. My Tiger (when he got older) liked to dress up too, I think it made him feel special. Like 'I'm wearing this and the other cats aren't, so the humans like me more' lol

That Gate background comes in three(?) colors and there's also the "Gateway to Multiple Worlds" but it's a super limited private, only two public copies. The second copy was auctioned off a few months ago and went for 1300 CSC (not to me lol). I love Stargate so much! Your new Captain is a real beauty.

i have seen pick n mix at the ikea by me too! but i haven't had a good look at it. pretty sure the last time i was there they were all out of candy except maybe one kind? i love marabou chocolate. one time my youngest brother won a huge box it at this carnival near my grandpas house. it was crazy. i can't remember what daim tastes like. i think the only time i tried it was in a mcflurry i had once.

oh i miss video stores! i loved going to blockbuster with my dad on fridays to pick out a movie. i also remember really wanting the candy they would sell at the front of the store but i was never allowed to get any.

I feel you on the relationship stuff. When I met my husband I was in a relationship with someone else but I just knew there was no one else for me. We moved in together about a week after our first date and we were expecting our firstborn after six months. Our familys/friends were horrified but almost 10 years and three kids later I still feel the same way I did when I first saw him ❤

I know I'm biased but they are pretty damn great. I'm not quite sure how they've turned out so well having me raise them but I must be doing something right! I have fairly bad social anxiety and very rarely interact with people so I was worried I'd raise odd kids but luckily they're proving me wrong 😌 & your invisible string story is super cute! I'm not really picky about what games I play as long as I don't have to be specifically the center of attention. Pictionary is okay but charades is not - look at the picture not at me. I'm just to shy and self-conscious for that kind of stuff but if you put a board, deck of cards or controller in my hands and we can just focus on that I'm in ;) I remember there was this game all my friends were obsessed with and one of the categories made you act things out and I was like I'll play it with you as long as I NEVER have to do that category - that's a new rule we're adding to the game, I never have to do the act things out category lol

I do, i rescued him when he was a baby bird. He was standing next to a tree, it was raining and he wasn't moving. I took him home, but it was a stressful couple of days cause i knew nothing about birds so i had to do a lot of research....2 vets weren't helpful at all, i gave him Gatorade and stuff and had to search myself online what to do. By the end of the third day he was almost gone, he was just laying there. As a last resort i gave him some antibiotic and he recovered by the next day....he is 3 years old now and super spoiled.

A favorite of mine is . When I'm sick, I tend to nest. You know, pull all of your blankets and pillows together with a bag of snacks and just live in a bundle of comfort til you're better? But I also have a problem where sometimes, whether due to anxiety or just feeling weird, I need pressure on my skin. I need some sort of weight on me and it's really hard to fix that by yourself. My boyfriend came over one day while I was struggling with that and had essentially buried (and lost myself) in what had been my blanket nest and kinda figured it out right away so he dug me out, told me to lay down flat, and wrapped me up like a burrito in a blanket. Since it was a tight roll it helped put pressure on me so I felt much better. He is a very patient guy haha. But since I was trapped he did draw whiskers on me and kept calling me a Purrito, so this item has a very happy place in my heart!!

i am lucky enough to have a few friends (including the lovely !) who send me this absolutely adorable plush from time to time, so i have a lil stack of them in my vault and one always locked in my inventory! it's a little thing, but it makes me smile so often to be reminded of the friendships i have on subeta. i'm so grateful for every single one of my friends, they've helped me through some extremely tough times over the last few years <3

the first CW i ever submitted on my own, this was also a gift from the wonderful ! the item description is a reference to a very silly tattoo competition TV show called Ink Master that i LOVE because it's so trashy and full of drama. i've watched every single season with my partners so it also reminds me of happy times spent with them!

okay, as anyone who knows me will attest, i am a MASSIVE nerd. like, ginormous. i love weird quirky philosophic comic books (all-time favourite comic series would probably have to be Kabuki by David Mack) and dorky MMO videogames (currently i'm obsessed with Guild Wars 2 and WoW). this lil tribute to the character Groot from the comic/film Guardians of the Galaxy is just the cutest little wiggly bab and it always cheers me up to see it locked in my inventory c:

I've only seen two seasons of Ink Master! I loved it, but it's hard finding episodes in the UK.

& I adore MMOs! I played WoW for years after it launched. I still remember the days of looking for a group in chat and not having a mount till you were level 40. Made the game so much harder! Now I mainly play ESO and SWTOR as they're free to play. I don't have much time to get online and play them so I would feel a bit guilty paying for something I hardly got to use.

i love zapping too, i created a labrat purely to zap, but then she got turned into an awesome robot and i had to adopt another pet to start zapping instead XD i hardly check in anymore. i feel bad for abandoning my pets, but i figure they're kinda immortal anyway...

my dearly departed cat Milo had a similar situation when we got another cat. he tried to play and hang out with her but she couldn't be bothered XD that's partly why we got the brothers from the same litter, so they would always have a buddy to play with ^^ i will always advocate moar cats :D

when my guild was kinda winding down (we started as a 'help out everyone during events' kinda guild, so we didn't have much to do during all the other times lol) i pretty much played the Habitarium all the time, and then they got rid of it, so that was that. nothing much to keep me there. and i realised how friggin awesome it is here, and wondered why i hadn't listened to my guildie who had recommended it and come here sooner!

they were still smol kittens back when i took that pic of them snuggling ^^ (pretty sure my phone is 99.99% cat photos lol) they are much bigger now! it's rare i get to have them both on my lap nowadays coz they both just can't fit XD stretched out Kaoru is longer than my legs :O

also jumping on the HP and Dr Who fangirl trains! i'm not a super fan or anything but i still love them to bits ^^ (i'm in Slytherin on Pottermore :) my patronus is a grey squirrel if i remember correctly, and i forget what my wand is XD i think i got overwhelmed with all the stuff to do on Pottermore and haven't been back after signing up woops)

oh i also love all the moon themed items on the site! i based my final collections of jewellery in my last year of uni on the Moon and it just deepened my love for our satellite ^^ (one of my lecturers even nicknamed me the Moon lady! she was one of my favourite lecturers too) i love looking up at the night sky, the cold vastness of space just appeals to my imagination and makes me feel so calm and centered.
