I've completed most of my crafted Christmas presents! Finished the hat I was working on, finished a little cross stitch design I had planned, and am near done with the silly gift I had in mind for my beau's dad. Have to buy yarn for the rest, though, and that has to wait until I can even think about affording to do that, unfortunately.

Had my follow-up appointment today and it went well! They're going to have me reduce my steroids slowly and get off them over the next month or so, super excited about that. Started working on a for fun project (a bookmark) last night, too, and it's looking pretty good so far.

I sent my long distance partner their Christmas gift today! It's our first Christmas together as a couple (we met on Discord about 13 months ago) and I'm so excited for them to get it!

I finished the bookmark I was working on and blocked it out last night! It turned out rather well, I think, trying to decide if I'll be keeping it or giving it to someone, haha~

I finished out the face of one of my projects last night! Depending on whether I decide to add arms and legs or not, it's basically finished. I started on a project that's actually for me last night, too, I wanted another pair of fingerless gloves and have an abundance of spare yarn in my stash, so figured why not.

My beau and I went out to lunch with a friend yesterday~ c: And I got to eat at one of my favorite taco places without disastrous results! It's nice to be able to eat real food again after what feels like an age from being sick and recovering. >>;

All my handmade gifts were well received! Even the one I was somewhat less than certain about went well. And the reaction of my beu's sis to her gift was thoroughly gratifying. The reactions overall made it worth all the time and effort I poured into crafting this year. (Though I'm glad to finally be able to do something other than craft furiously, like catch up on some gaming, haha~ )

Everyone liked the hanukkah/xmas gifts I've been able to give out thus far!
I'm going to welcome the new year by going out and seeing fireworks in my favourite city with my best friends tomorrow :)
