oh yeah alarms are useless for me too, i just go straight back to sleep lol >< i have come to the conclusion over the last couple of days that not napping is just as troublesome for me as napping D: i do stupid things when i'm drowsy, even though i fall asleep immediately when i go to bed which is great, but it's still a wasted afternoon. i can't win! i think i just need better work hours, i'm sure that'd help...or no work hours, then i can let my sleep pattern fall back into au naturale :P

Aw, that's rough! I do hope your work hours improve for you. I can't really blame my work hours because that's what I chose; I prefer to work at night. I blame the rest of the world that tries to make me do stuff during the day when I am a night person, which tends to foul up my schedule and that can take time to fix. My biggest problem, though, really seems to be that my natural rhythm just doesn't conform to Earth's rotation. I want to be awake longer and then sleep longer than will fit within a 24-hour period, so if I'm not working, my schedule ends up kind of wobbling between nights and days (although my preference is still to do things at night). Earth is so weird. I'm clearly an alien. :P

woohoo! ...and back to the start of the cycle again.
tomorrow is my last 5am shift until next (and every following) Saturday!! aww yiss back to 10am starts PHEW! oh man i've always wanted to try working at night to see if that would suit me better! i'm a total night owl as well. it makes things very tricky when society is geared around functioning during the sunlit hours, such a pity :( haha yeah let's just move off-world to a planet more suited to us :P

Yay, that's good! :D Dude you should try it. Second and third shift are both nice. In some ways, second is better because you're still accustomed to being up during part of the "normal business hours" of the world but you never have to deal with those pesky mornings. I'm ready to go, right now! Just waiting on Elon to get the space bus running. At least days are a bit more than half an hour longer on Mars; that's something until we can get out of the solar system. :P

i really wish there were more options for night shifts in the region where i live, but it's quite rural where i am, so i'm pretty limited with job options in general, let alone ones with favourable hours :/ i think i'd even be happy with just the high-tech futuristic luxury spaceship experience! especially if i could manipulate the light hours however i wanted! as long as there's big windows and viewing platforms where i can enjoy the starscape, i'd definitely be up for that.

Ah, yeah, I lived in a rural area for a while so I understand limited options. All my jobs there were night jobs...but they were terrible jobs haha. And I had to commute pretty far. That would have been the case for pretty much any job though. Oh I'd go for that too! Even better, actually...an artificial schedule can be whatever I want. Living on a ball of dirt is overrated anyway. :P
