- Today's been a nice, quiet, relaxing day! Just waiting for my husband to take a shower so we can go over to a friend's house for Thanksgiving dinner <3

Oh fun! I'm happy your day's going well. I've been over at my family's place for thanksgiving for about 5 hours now. It's an all day thing for us which at times can be a bit draining, but overall it's great.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! I'm super sick so I'm already in bed for the night think I'm just gonna watch something on Hulu and sleep as early as I can. Just got back into Subeta after being MIA for a good chunk of time, so back to learning the ropes on here!

waves When I posted I had cooked my part and was just about to eat. I was definitely stuffed after eating :x Considering how much we ate, I don't know how it is we have leftovers but we do! So Thanksgiving pt. 2 today! :D Shopping this year (yesterday and this weekend) is entirely for Christmas presents. Usually I'd buy clothes or household upgrades also but we just don't have the money to spend this year. Just going with my Christmas list. Almost done actually :) Not too much this year.

Not too sore! I'm just a good daughter ;) Plus I get paid in coffees and lunches <3

- What did you end up cooking for your Thanksgiving meal? I opted out of the cooking this year and just bought pies from the grocery store for our gathering. This is our first year without Thanksgiving leftovers! It's so strange :o I hope you enjoyed yours! And yay for Christmas shopping almost being done! I am still stumped on what to buy for my parents... and my husband... and my daughter... LOL 😂 I actually have my sister and niece done!

Hope everyone that celebrates it had a lovely Thanksgiving. I've been so busy I've been mia for a bit, Today we are just sitting around, watching football and relaxing and I'm trying to get caught up.

How has your weekend been?

It was my friend's boyfriend's 30th birthday at a bar that speicalises in gin. It was very expensive but were very lovely - but I'm proving I'm not 18 any longer and feeling a bit tender after only 2 drinks XD

- My weekend has been nice! Thank you for asking! It's been a lot of sitting around and playing Subeta :P I've also played some board games with my daughter and watched a movie with my husband. Today will be laundry, and lots of it to get ready for the work week. I totally know what you mean about the drinks! 1 and I am done! LOL

I only had to make one casserole, a pie, and then the gravy. Our holiday host made all the rest so it was an easy year :D I don't think I've ever not had leftovers when I made the whole meal. This year we only had about 3 servings of leftovers because we just took some home in containers, the rest stayed at the house we gathered at for the holiday.

I'm stumped on gifts for a few people too but I try to get as much done in November as I can. I have to ship most of the gifts I buy and get super stressed out if I have to go to the post office the week before Christmas :x I try to get them out by the middle of the month. Once the gifts are done I can focus on baking and traditions and all that good stuff, much less stressful! Parents are always hard to buy for. I never know what to get mine.

- My plan was to buy a Christmas gift every month of the year and just save it so that I wouldn't be going through this stress right now and so that my wallet wouldn't freak out :o That plan obviously didn't happen! I've been looking at some kitchen gadgets or cooking supplies for my mom, some golf stuff for my dad, toys and books for my daughter (or maybe signing her up for a regular art class), but the husband I am totally stumped on. And I would really like to not give gift cards to people this year. That seems like the easy way out with no thought. So impersonal. By the way, what kind of casserole did you make for your Thanksgiving dinner? I love casseroles and am always looking for new ones or great recipes!

- Hi there! Good to see you! I just woke up from an hour and a half nap! It was the best part of my day - LOL :D I slept horribly last night and just couldn't keep my eyes open any longer, but I'm feeling great now! How are you doing?

I WISH I had a nap today. I knew though that if I did I'd have a hard time sleeping tonight. So instead I'm going to stay up only til like 9:30 xD I'm well! Also REALLY tired and sore from this weekend. I was at a curling tournament and we played 5 games over 3 days.

(I never replied to this???) I know right? I'm not much of a social butterfly. Though I have the ability to be social, I also have a limit on how long it lasts. Like a battery, and once that battery is empty, I gotta disappear for a while. Problem is, my family always goes looking for me and drags me back before I'm recharged. Lol
