I just came back from the con 8D I decided to go dressed as a sweet lolita, so I put on my dress, wig, pantyhose, make-up and all those things, which looked nice but I kinda regret it x_x It's 34C here (which is 93.2F according to google) and the aircons at the convention weren't working. I could feel my make-up melting, no, not only the make-up, I myself was melting O_X So I had to leave a bit early.

I also took off my pantyhose at some point because it was way too hot. I was tempted to remove the wig, but I managed to soldier on XD

My boyfriend bought a screaming chicken toy and I got a Totoro plushie 8D

I'm doing okay, thanks for asking. Just tired and I have a ton of work to catch up on, but all I seem to do is come back to Subeta instead. Opps.

That heat sounds terrible but at least you didn't go as something covered in fur or armor lol. My costumes tend to be very warm full-body things because I like to hide lol so I'm lucky it's usually pretty chilly on Halloween (that's been my only costume occasion thus far; I'll have to keep temperature in mind if I ever do a summer cosplay).

The more I have that I should be doing, the more I goof off, invariably lol. Good luck with all the things and I hope you got some rest too!

Thanks for the tips! I didn't even know they had raves and bands, that's awesome and sounds like a ton of fun. I'm not really at all social either and I'm hella awkward but under the right circumstances sometimes I try (e.g. dark rooms, loud music, lots of alcohol haha). My biggest problem is that I have no one to go with and even if I made plans to go, it would be too easy to skip it and stay home and be boring without a friend to get hyped about it with. ._. I tried to talk my friend into going to AlienCon with me but she wasn't interested. To be fair, it is out-of-state and expensive, but it looks like a blast. YOLO, right?! XP

@ QueenSpazzy Oh, I'm definitely a research-and-prepare type too. Reduces anxiety and generally makes for better experiences. I certainly would not want to be without my sunscreen...already learned that lesson the hard way, ouch lol.

@ Hongske Oh, I was more referring to the description...the one in my video is really kind of just a rolling blob and doesn't do much haha, but it works and it was fun to build. Eventually, I hope to make something that serves more of a purpose. Like...a potato on wheels that shoots lasers!

Has anyone watched The Room? I watched it recently and oh my god, it's so bad but also so good. I'm just finishing listening to "The Disaster Artist", the book about the movie. Reading it would probably not be so entertaining, the guy's impression of Tommy is amazing.

Anyway, if anyone wants a good laugh, go watch The Room and then listen to the audiobook XD. (You can always watch some highlights on YT too, but the full movie is golden)

I am hungry, and I am debating on what I should have... Leftovers of some kind xD.
