yeah! last year it was delayed a few days, but it's on the holiday schedule from oct 1 through oct 6, so hopefully it'll start sometime this afternoon :) if you want to be extra nosy, you can check the item directory once in a while to see when staff starts adding gunter's new stock -- that'd give you a better sign for "news post soon!" than anything else.

Last year I think some of the events got delayed a bit because of the Omen Islands event thing, it only just ended right before Keel Hauliday started. KH got pushed back a couple of days because of it, so I think it affected Alegarten as well.

Since things seem to be on schedule this year, I agree that it will probably start today (hoping so anyway).

And I hope you enjoy the holiday! It's pretty fun with the items and stuff to buy, I like the foods and collection items. There will probably be some more new achievements as well.

I'm excited for the event. Though, I'm out of town and on mobile til tomorrow, so that'll put a damper on things. Definitely stalking the item directory.

yeah, the bad omen plot did all kinds of shenanigans with keel hauliday and alegarten, it was. a lot happening at once haha

so far the holiday season has been very relaxed though, it's nice. gotta enjoy the calm before the morostide rush haha :y

Yeah, Morostide is great but it always feels like there's so much to do and keep track of. I love it, but I also like having some more relaxing holidays in between.

Fireside is kind of similar with the floating items and donating pumpkins and all that, but still fun. At least Luminaire is more relaxed.

i was just thinking about the rush to trade for all the rag dolls and such, i'd never really thought about how many things you need to pay attention to during morostide 'till i wanted to make a joke about morostide timers... there's pumpkin patch timer, trick or treat timer (which is also the egg/tp timer, too, i think? unless they're separate?), the zapper timer, you need to watch for floating pumpkins (to carve, to feed to pets, to delete, to save for fantine?!?), there's usually a good handful of opponents to battle -- good lord.

okay yeah, i don't know who sorted out the schedule, but keel hauliday rush - alegarten vacation (+ one week off) - morostide rush - two weeks off - fireside rush - luminaire was an A+ decision ;o;

Yeah, I love love love the events on this site, but I also love that we get some breaks in between the madness.

It could still be starting later tonight. There are usually not as many new items for this event as there are for some others (since this one is pretty short), so it probably won't take very long for them to be added.
