Yes as far as I know you can still get it. Because you can still go to the Drunk Gunter page with the option of turning in beers. I got this achievement the year it came out so I haven't been able to do any testing with the achievement counter since then, sorry about that.
I read the news, why on earth is Subeta's version of octoberfest being moved to the summer? That makes very little sense to me. I get everyone wants a "break" but if you ask me having it during the summer is really weird. I mean I don't typically drink alcohol, but when I do I'd rather not have it during the scorching heat.
Also sad that there appears to be no new items, or at least not yet. I wanted to see all the new pretty things! :(

I mean... it did start out as being Subeta's version of Oktoberfest, but that isn't the only drinking & food festival that exists. And like was saying, keeping it themed around one particular festival kind of limits the things that they can come up with for the event in future years. Moving it to the summer and just having it be like some kind of food festival with whatever other stuff Gunter thinks of thrown in gives them more room to do new things.
Also side note for the people asking, the Drunk Gunter achievement should still be obtainable since it's not listed as retired. Only the Anniversary Beer Throw-down one is.
I still just find it a little strange. It would make more sense to me to move Keelhaul to the Summer, but that might just be me. Ah well I suppose I'll just have to see how next year goes before I have a major opinion of it.

Keel Hauliday starts on the 19th because of "Talk Like a Pirate Day". I guess it could have been moved, but it makes more sense to me to just keep that and the anniversary stuff together since they're both kinda small events. Alegarten/food festival seems like an event where they could do more stuff and summer is a good time for that.
Subeta also has Vesnali, and then really nothing until September. Might as well move something into the summertime, to keep us engaged & entertained.
Personally, I hadn't done much on Sub since Vesnali, until Keelhauliday (except for the Quest-a-thon's - can't miss out on my free pet slots that I don't even use. LOL). It'll be nifty to have something in the summer months, especially since people are generally out of school, and have more time. (This doesn't apply to me, as I'm old, and work year round, but... Ya know.)
OH WELL.
Time to buy up all the food I've been ignoring for years.
Thanks for the super informative post !
Ah, good point! :'D And yeah, it is a pain to catch up with it because so many things are scattered all over. I really do like the idea of having a little note, or a marker of some sort for achievements that mostly require holiday stuff! Looks like someone made a suggestion topic about it, too.
Not sure if anyone brought this up...
300k / 300k / 3k
lmao, screw gold. xD
LOL
The pricing for a lot of the items seems kind of random to me. Like for some of the clothing sets, a lot of them will be 2-10k but then a couple of random pieces of the set will be like 200-300k and I dunno why.
I think it's to reflect the item's rarity back when we had a seasonal shop. So like super rares are the most expensive etc.
Funny how gold got the boot tehe. X)
Yeah I guess that makes sense, it's just kind of funny to have one item of a set be selling for only 1k or so and the next for 300k. :P
I suppose it balances out in the end, and it's still pretty expensive to buy everything anyway.
yeah, definitely! I'd much rather it be even, waaay easier to figure out how much to have on hand
Went ahead and got all of the clothes I was missing from the shop. Goodbye money ;~;
These edibles are also wearable, so you need to buy two:

Wish the achievements would be released! Of course, I have about 120 Alegarten items left to feed to my pet, so chances are I won't be able to complete them immediately. ;) (Wish my pet would get hungrier, faster!)
Though, I'm going to say now that it would be highly inconsiderate for staff to release Alegarten-specific achievements after the event ends.
Once I'm through my stock, I will have fed everything. I own all the beanbags, plushies, and stickers. I don't, however, own all the wearables- mainly because there are a lot of wearables that I really just don't like. I refuse to buy everything just in the fear that an achievement will include it. (Hello hoarding...) So let's hope that any wearable related achievements hit before the shop closes indefinitely.
They usually release achievements involving items from an event while the event is still going on. So I would expect to see some achievements either later today or tomorrow at the latest (the last day would be kind of a bad choice too, I think).
But there's still some time! I'm not sure how many achievements there would be anyway, because I think they already have quite a few for the foods and some clothes, and it may be hard to come up with new ones since there weren't any new items this year.
