I though Witchtober sounded kinda fun, don't think I've heard of it before. So I decided to try it. I'm already behind lol and kind of busy these days, but hope I'll be able to do as many of them as possible.

Here's day 1: click I chose Winter for the seasonal witch. I think I overshot by a lot so I decided to keep it as a sketch for now so I don't burn out right away.

About halfway through with day 2's witch sketch. Not entirely sure what I want to do for day 3.

I've known about stuff like Inktober for a while but never look at the tags anywhere, I just see it if artists I follow happen to do it. So I'm enjoying everyone's art here ^^

I've finished Day 3, thankfully it went smoother than the previous days!! Today's theme was Merchant witch, with a liiitle bit of poison mixed in. I like to think she sells rare venoms.

Day 4 which is gemstone witch: You can see the bigger version here. Almost everything came out as I wanted it to be except from the cat and gemstones. They are as it seems to be my weak points.

day 5: long not really undertale fan but this was the only idea i had lmao

Finally had time and energy to do the prompts I've missed so far yesterday.

Day 2 Urban Witch: click. I imagine a cat familiar would still like the warmth of the PC in a modern household, hehe. Day 3 Merchant Witch: click. A bored cashier at the local Hex Megastore, the no. 1 stop for all your witchy supplies! Day 4 Garden Witch: click. Now I really like the idea of a straw witch hat. Maybe it would be easier for the wind to take, though. Day 5 Socialite Witch: click. This prompt is a little weird to me, since I thought the easiest way to fulfill it was to draw a clique of witches laughing and gossiping together. But I didn't want to do that much work lol. Well anyway I googled and apparently socialites are known for being fashionable as well. So I guess it's more fashion witch but, hey. What can you do.

I didn't really intend for every prompt to be a pencil sketch, but that's the way it's turned out so far. It's fine I suppose, though I suspect I'm scanning with the wrong setting since the images are kind of weird. I was initially worried my drawings would become kind of singular if I just drew a standard witch hat and costume for every one, so I've been trying to do some more environmental storytelling to show that the characters are indeed witches (+ practice poses and backgrounds). It's pretty fun so far. I'm using the school's scanner so I'll probably have to post these in bulk like this if I keep it traditional. (Because I'm too lazy to scan one a day).

Today I'm going to stray from the prompt list and draw some scenery, going along with the prompt "Sword" Drawing people gets really tiring and I've got other things to do today, and think I can finish a scenery piece quicker. :0
