LOL that is true. I really do hope they bring back the old scrolls and god weapons. Even if they through them into the antique shop or throw them into the battle shop for 5,000 impossible tokens. At least it gives me something to work for instead of making them impossible to get.

hahahaaaaaa and i did get further along than i thought i would. it really hurts, not being able to heal myself during the battle.

does any one know, will the boppers be here for a couple of days? because i'll try again, before the bopper leaves (and a few more days of training the pet)

Woof. That was really challenging. This is the first year I could even attempt the Maliss! The no freezing or healing really, really hurt. Likely not going to attempt for 10 wins til next year.

I love the idea of putting some decent weapons in the battle shop for imp tokens, all we ever use them for after the mecha is trading down! Butttt putting something worthwhile in there would be really great!

Oh hey, boppers. It was nice to be able to beat the Maliss Bopper this year since they others aren't much of a challenge. I must still be a bit sick because I didn't figure out healing was disabled and was wondering why it was hitting so hard.

227 stats left till tier 9! I just went in a small booster buying spree to try and close the gap. If all goes well Cynde should be there by Morostide and ready for the challengers!

Yeah I have a few weapons to upgrade to. I just need to get a better healing scroll and maybe another Shriek. :)

Dark blocker and as many full blockers/huge icon blockers as you can manage. Since you can't heal, steal, or freeze this bopper.

I didn't remember healing being disabled against the Maliss bopper either, I thought I was able to beat it last year because I had the beanbag already (and I don't think I had bought it), but now it seems tougher this year with no healing. Either something changed or we all just have poor memories.

Nah, Maliss Bopper still had healing disabled in the past. IIRC I had to use around 8 Cobalt Eternals to get my wins in last year, this year I just threw a few Voids at it and cleaned up tidily.

Yeah I really wish they would put more weapons and scrolls in there. There is literally nothing but the mecha for impossible tokens. Even the other categories could use more items.

For tier 10 you have a lot more options to use for the bopper. So far in my battles she is doing a lot of fire, dark, physical and wind. Any of these weapons could work:
