Is there a thread where we can make suggestions for backdrop revamps? I'd really love it to be a complete image without the cutout. I think many asked for the paint cans to be revamped and they created genetech combos for the used paint cans. I'm not sure if redrawing the legendary would be considered by staff though.

I absolutely love Mist. It used to be in my WL for a really long time. I tried vending on and off for Riptide but no luck with OD so at one time I just gave up. Someday perhaps I'll pick Mist up and put it back on my plate again.

From MrCool's the maliss bopper is an EH opponent:

I'm not sure if they made it stronger or not last year, but that can give you an idea maybe. The blog also mentions freezing and stealing being disabled.

, yah. that's how i usually do it with the lower tiered challengers. (that helps me finally beat them)

i've just started this year, in the serious training, so i feel like shadowhex has been doing ok. it's just around the holidays and the bigger challengers come out that i fall down on. heh. :) of course, there is still plenty of regular challengers that i haven't been able to beat. like recycle beast and Wyrmgear.

but at least i'm getting there. :)

If EB and Wyrm give you trouble, you are going to have a tough time w/ Maliss -- but you never know. Sometimes we get lucky!

I think maybe the first time I beat Mal I had actually ended up using the Malis Cannon out of sheer desperation because there weren't any affordable dark blockers at T8...

Yeah needing the riptide makes it tough to afford. It's pretty, but I don't want to spend an arm and a leg for it =x

It has an attack, but it's 1-12 ice and 1-12 wind. So it can do as little as 2 damage or as much as 24 which is an insane range imo. It's saved my butt on numerous occasions though with the heal and freeze chance.

Also I think depending on what weapons you have, the bopper is a T8+ challenger.

Okay I just took a look at the bopper stat and she does a lot of physical, wind, and dark. After that I would say is light and fire. Healing, freezing and stealing are indeed all disabled. Based on that, this would be a good base set since you have these full blockers:

Didn't TA used to have a chance to freeze on it at one point too? Mana surge would be the perfect scroll to go with the cronus blade.

I think that's why I kept fighting the castle even though I was just racking up loss after loss. It would have been nice to get 3 wins once I saw I could get 1 and 2.
