Hello battlers, not sure how many of you will remember me but I recently returned to Subeta after like 2.5 years away and a few days ago really hit my stride with getting back into the swing of things. xD

Working on regaining Top 100 status for Afflicted and then hopefully will set my sights on the Top 50 goal I was SO CLOSE TO before I stopped playing. Ugh!

Battle Quests done for today. Completed Level 26. Raging Storm Sylph (first time, I think - maybe second?) and General Error.

- Congratulations on getting 5 wins against Maliss Bopper with Maskros before the boppers left! I knew she could do it! Hope you also had time to clean up all the littler pirates and boppers with all your battle pets. (Say "hi" to Greyah for us and tell him we miss him and he can visit again anytime. :-) )

And thank you again for all the weapon loans (especially the amazing shields).

- I think almost everyone is missing that background (except - fantastic HA! - really creative and soooo cute) and also that book. But they will be back again next year and probably much easier to get then.

Yes, all that makes sense to me. And definitely not worth quite as much effort when you can afford to wait because the challenger will always be around when you're ready.

- yes, battling can get very frustrating at times. But when you finally get one of those elusive wins it is soooo worth it!

And yes, for the fourth win against Rita, Tharg used: 13 Dark Magma Potions, 1 Regenerating Pylonic, 3 Purple Fireside Flames (so I got 2 extra freezes), 1 Mutagenic Throwing Vial, 1 Negating Pylonic, 1 Darkness Shard, 1 Light Shard and 1 Life Shard. And for the fifth win: 15 Dark Magma Potions, 3 Purple Fireside Flames (which means 2 extra freezes this battle as well), 1 Regenerating Pylonic, 1 Negating Pylonic, 1 Life Shard and 1 Light Shard. As I said before, I threw everything - including the kitchen sink. But it worked! :-)

- Cynde did it! Five wins against Rita! I knew you could do it. Congratulations! I was so delighted to see your post about that victory.

- I wonder if you're thinking about me? I was trying to make a list of weapon abbreviations last year because you were all talking alphabet speak and I had no idea what most of it meant (). Unfortunately, I can't remember where I put what I had. And it turns out I quickly learned to use educated guesses at SubetaLodge to decipher most of it (and somehow I seem to have learned a lot of it). I do remember posting about my confusion when I first started though. Don't remember seeing anyone else (or I would have used it!).

I'm confused. I don't remember getting any stats including level from Shinwa (stat boosters, yes - stats no). Did you maybe mean Oracle Quests?

Just went to the wardrobe to check (because of your comment) - it loaded almost immediately for me (but then I have almost no wearables) so maybe a problem related to how many items you're loading?

I'm only loading 100 at the time, when I always used to load 500 at the time. They just won't load. I'm super stressed that It's been going on since around the last Quest-A-Thon or so.

Sorry to all about the lack of response. I'm not the most social person though I am a little better about it on here than in real life, but sometimes I just don't know what to say even when it can be as simple as a 'thanks!' and I get anxious about it and put the matter off. I don't mean to be rude so if I don't answer someone, I'm not intentionally ignoring you for that reason.

Thanks! About the only reason I've been able to win against the Super challengers is the handful of Voids that allows me to wield haha. Tomes are hands-down the best way to earn AP in the long run even with the total cost of pure. I think I checked against the book list on subetalodge and it breaks down to about 138 AP if you'd read every book listed there, which is way low for any serious scroll usage.

Yeah unfortunately not everyone can just pay to boost through the tiers like I have the past few years. I do feel bad about that, and I give all the credit in the world to folks like y'all that raise a pet or multiple pets the 'natural' way.

If there are still any books in my shop that you might be interested in, I'll cut you an additional deal of half-off the presently set prices.

Also, congratulations on the OHS and Ether! Those aren't exactly easy to purchase even from my end of things.

Thank you so much! I'm so proud that Sun could do it. I really didn't think he'd be able to pull off one win when I started, let alone five, and for about twenty battles I did start to think it was impossible to get there even with all the freezer/blockers I could give him at the time.

I know I'm super late on this but congratulations for defeating Rita five times with Tharg! I can't believe a T8 was able to accomplish it, and I thought it was a big deal for Sun at T9. You keep on pulling off incredible under-leveled/stat tactics that throw me back to the days before tiers, where if the right weapons and strategy was had, no opponent was impossible. But that you can still do it while limited by your tier is even more fantastic. Seriously, this is just incredible. Great job!
