(I was just getting ready to fight him when the boppers showed up. Then there was another delay. And now pirates. Do you think maybe I'm not supposed to have Tos even try to battle him this visit? sigh Of course that just isn't going to happen.)

Interesting. The grenade might have a secret (probably using the Defensive Bandana) because it's one tier higher but weaker than the other two weapons

it does as I remember getting the bandana SL says... Equipping this weapon with the Defensive Bandana will enhance its stats. Main Attack: 36 icons Combo Attack: Attack: Attack: 12-15 Fire, 12-15 Light, 12-15 Water (36-45 icons) Other: Heals 10%

Battle Quests done for today. Completed Level 25.

I just love it when I tired and doing BQs and forget to turn PRESELECTION off () and wind up taking two or three turns without using any weapons or scrolls, then figure out what I've done, hastily check my health and discover it's at full hp. I guess I could just sit there battling more or less forever (kind of like with the Troll if you don't have the right weapon). Guess I should stop battling and go to bed. :-)

Definitely need to go to stop battling, I just skipped Angry Arnold. LOL Right now that big red button just looked irresistible - maybe because it is red, like the Game Over button. :-) Fortunately, I managed to finish Level 25 anyway.

Before starting BQs I tried fighting Rita a couple of times () but got wiped out really fast and I'm too tired to figure out what weapons to use to have some chance of winning. - I am really impressed that you got five wins with Maskros - and I have no idea how you managed it so quickly. :-)

But I did manage to make some progress on my battling list ...

I feel I may have to throw in the towel with Rita, I last maybe five or six rounds and then I'm done. I know I probably should be able to beat her, but I just can't manage to do so...and I'm too tired to keep trying, it's doing my head in..lol.

I wish we could battle the cubs...they've gotten so big!

So I'm bummed the broken lucent isn't a whole lot better. Nice to see some of the items return, just don't think they thought half the 'prices' through, seem realllly expensive.

It's just not having the right weapons, or using them, at the right time I suppose...and having the right scrolls as well

I'm happy that, so far, I don't need to buy any of the new weapons. Waiting to see all stats but I think I'm sticking with the booster.

I guess the set I used is kinda cheap (not sP-cheap) Relied a lot on AoN, and for win 5 I used a glaciating pylonic, mercurial throwing vial, and some shards. I only can equip two freezing scrolls with Heehaw though. You have any wins so far? What are you using and how close are you getting?

No wins, and not really close...I get her to light green I suppose? This is after some freezing, and then she gets me in one blow... I'm currently trying:

Thanks for the stats So, the Sebastian Phoenix Sabre has some more attack in lieu of defense? That's interesting considering the price of that and Calvin Blackmoons Sword are the same.

Thank you. I actually have the weapons suggested by MrCool's guide and I read his quite some time ago so the recommendation sticks in my head and I guess I was able to get to 5 wins quickly thanks to that :D

Btw I've got both the and and to lend if any T9 or T10 pets want some wins against Rita. You will need a complementary blocker though (Hydragellos Maniacal Core/ Large Gutting Knife/Panzer Hydra Blade for light if you want to borrow War Shield and Gelatin Slayer/ Comet Flash if you want to borrow Mirroring Shield).

I'll need mod replacements though (1 parched baguette for War Shield and 1 singed baguette for Mirroring Shield). I can also lend my Gelatin Slayer if needed but I'll need one parched replacement for that too.
