Bleh. Stupid full block and 3k heals keep turning up and I can't seem to blast them. At least I'm critting well and getting off enough freezes to make it this far, but if kbbob hasn't found anything worthwhile at 50 wins I'm not enthused to try pushing back up to 40 from last time. Might need to give up some of those Voids in my scroll set for more Shrieks.

I'm not quite having as much fun as I would have thought, since it is pretty wearying to go up against these opponents for so many battles in a row, and I'm a lot more hesitant to take chances despite Kilroy's stats since I don't want to have any 'official' losses(and I was trying so hard to avoid any 'unofficial' ones from Battle Quests but that went up in smoke for both Kil and Sun last night :L)

congratulations on your 35 wins against Careaper! I used to feel mostly angry when I lost a battle in BQ, but I'm just feeling sad. At least it wasn't an 'official' loss, but a loss is still a loss, grrrr!

I was on the verge of forfeiting a battle against Flamagia (funny thing, it was my 26-29 level challenger -_-; lol) when it stole everything by my PStaff and healers, but I somehow managed to win that battle :o each turn was a cliffhanger, though.

I know how you feel! Before the reset I couldn't care less about my losses (I had literally a ton from fighting 3 different event bosses with multiple pets), but now I want to keep that 0 a 0. ...but I really want to maximize wins too, and get that post-10-wins loot, so it's a mental struggle :P

Thanks! Mean little bug when it wants to be but at least it can't freeze me through eight parched baguette crystals on my primary two attackers. :D (this was done mostly in preparation for GE, ugh, 25 wins down and 25 to go for a new scroll). Yeah exactly.

yes exactly! And the only way to push forward and see how further we'll get (because I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to see how many more wins we can get compared the ones we had before the reset) is by taking a chance (or many of them!) and take on losses.

But that 0 loses looks so pretty :P

I'm really impressed when I see you and others getting so many wins against the bug! Before the reset Tziety only managed 2 wins and took 9 losses to get there. I think I will steer clear from him and try him on January when Tziety's stats are improved (I'll be traveling on the 13th next month)

Good luck with GE! I enjoy battling him now! Aand to think that on April when I first got serious about battling I was really scared of him and skipped him (and Flamagia) on BQ! It's incredible how far I've gotten in only 7 months :P

Aw thank you. Careaper's stats are deceptively misleading, it looks like they ought to be doable compared to similar opponents but everything it has belies that. I was in the same boat as you when Kilroy was around the same tier, so yeah building up your stats higher will definitely be to your advantage before you try again.

And thanks again, I'm sure it won't be too difficult compared to Ice King or Saggitarius, just a little long and a little more wearying. And congratulations on coming this far so soon!
