Yeah I wish I bought one myself when they were cheap, but it was that or natasha at the time. Oh well. The one I am using I am borrowing for the castle. I think I've hit a brick wall though. Can't start my crit hit rally until he's already doing over 5k damage so I just may be stuck at 6 until after the reset.

Yeah there comes a point where you opponent is always going to get damage through and defense only really helps when you are partially blocking icons. If your opponent is doing 50 dark, 50 earth and 50 fire, but you are only blocking against the earth and fire, they are still going to do sqt(strength)/4.2 *50 dark

I also used DGR and ME since he does a lot of light damage as well. Maybe that is actually what I used to get the last couple of wins on him? I don't remember now but DGR is good because it blocks a lot of light and heals.

@ Wesker Funny, I sold mine so I could have funds to buy a Natasha too lol Yeah, I could only reach 2 wins on Baen, but I'm not worried about beating him to 5 wins yet. Once El's about mid-T13, I'll deal with the castle then

Maybe the CS challenger theme this year will end with a secret 13th baddie that we unlock after defeating the 12th. Just that if that does happen, odds are we'll have had to have unlocked all 12 like with the research notes...so hopefully we can pick up any missing challengers during the Black Friday sale. (have the BAs mentioned if they'll be available again for BF? I missed all of spring's baddies)

Natasha is just better for most things. Actually, I use Natasha for the second half of the battle against the castle. Yeah by T13 it will be much easier to beat I’m sure. I think if I can get my speed up though, I can start landing crit hits much earlier in the battle and pull off more wins.... hmm...

Once you beat GE 10 times you will get psycho smashed as an achievement. The shrieks are more luck based as they are random drops from nightlady. I only got one this year in 20 battles :/ Skelly is the most rare to find of the three because it was a plot prize. You are always welcome to borrow mine though if you need it!

Cronus should help with boosting your stats to outspeed. It doesn't take El too long to become faster. The problem is that crits don't ignore defense boosts on here like in Pokemon (afaik anyways), so even getting a crit is pointless if your opponent's boosted their defense out to wazoo.

Just FYI, it wasn't that I felt bad about losing (have you seen my battle stats lately? LOL) because when I push hard I often wind up with almost more losses than wins. :-) It was more being slightly frustrated at running out of time to try again because he's on a ten minute timer and I was soooo close to getting that second win in. After all, at least for now, I'm not too worried about finding him again. :-)

Oh yeah, and KT is fighting a slightly different Ice King than Tos for the moment (thank goodness for Tos!).

- thank you. I just had to battle Ice King. He was making me crazy challenging me three and four times a day - every day. Now I can start working my way - slowly - to the 100 club as Tos keeps growing.

- so far just one win on Ice King outside of BQs but came really close to a second before I ran out of time on his challenge. Hopefully, he will be somewhat less of a pest now. I wouldn't mind seeing him daily, but it might be fun to get some other REs once in a while. :-)

You could try the paintbrush blades? I dunno prak hurts by the end of the battle if you’re not blocking at least two of the icons he deals. If you can finish him off quickly then you might be okay.

Hehe ok I might have to take you up on that offer in the future. Right now I still have a lot of saved outfits I haven’t worn yet because of the holidays and battle stuff.

That’s what I’ve been using but my speed is low. I need to add 1,500 to my speed. On the positive side, it’s 1500 to all my stats. However, by that many turns it’s too late. I’m steal out damaging him. Actually my crits are even damaging him more than he can heal himself so the defense hasn’t been an issue so far. If I can add another 500 to my speed, then I can start crit hitting him around the time he runs out of his starter weapons and possibly end the battle before he starts to really hurt.

Ice king becomes a big push over when you can use the unstable syringe. Good luck!

Ooh, thanks for the tip! Just got my second win with ME as my main weapon backed up by PBB and cronus. Worked pretty well, and a lot of the time there was the curse that disables the second weapon anyway...

Cronus is nice for the boost but eventually the right block becomes priority over boosting
