You can do it get to 10! Did you finish up with the other challengers before they leave?

OHS helps out a lot with her. The blessing will stop her from stealing your stuff. I switched to blessed trident and OHS when my pet hit T10 and finished her off. I chose the better damage from the trident instead of gelatin slayers dark block. I would keep aftershocks. It’s always good to have an infinite use scroll once your others run out. Since you have a limited number of scrolls to equip, I would do freeze, then aftershocks, then freeze again, rinse and repeat. This way you give yourself a chance to heal in between. Swap out the temple shard for the recycle blaster. Double blasting is always helpful.

Sorry, but what is the OHS? I can definitely try with the trident, recycle blaster, and aftershocks. That's good advice. I was mostly just trying to freeze like crazy as long as I could, but freeze-heal-freeze might work better.

I do actually have a Rift Staff. Forgot about its existence. But a yes to borrowing the gelatin slayer. Worth a shot at the very least!

- that could be it. I'm beginning to suspect he's sweet on Nightlady but doesn't want to admit it so he's using Tos as an excuse to hang around the Battle Coliseum while she's there. :-)

- you might consider swapping Soma Tablets for an UltimaPlus Tag. They add another 25 percent healing and if SubetaLodge is right they have a higher chance to freeze. Also wondering whether you have a 100 percent freezer with an attack on it (I know the blessing is nice, but I like the attack better - but then I lose enough times that losing a battle during the first few turns when the helmet's blessing is active is no big deal to me. :-) )

I've been using a similar set with Tos but I've been throwing something pretty much every turn (on the other hand, she's only T9 and hasn't managed win eight yet).

I saw on another thread that recommended Comet Flash (but it depends on your speed) or Plague Claw at T10 (and, of course, people are using OHS). Also, if you can get hold of one a Chancellors War Shield might be helpful. Good luck!

Ooh, are OHS the Ornamented Hook Swords? (I'm a dummy.) They're definitely on my list of things I want, but currently can't afford the 450m price tag in the MC.

Considering how cold that bitch's heart is -- I can see how they would make a perfect couple...

This is where I stand on the other challengers:

All four pets (81 - T4, Gulp - T6, Tharg - T8 and Tos - T9) have 10 wins on: Deathly Harbinger, Spider, Candy Scorn, Lingering Haunt, Pumpkin Patch Goblin and Torchbearer.

81 made it to 5 wins on Wolve and Eager Dentist (I"m so proud of my littlest battler). The other 3 pets have 10 each.

Gulp has 2 wins on Carrion Lord and might try for more if I have time later today. Tos and Tharg each have 10 wins on both Carrion Lord and Umbrus. Gulp hasn't managed to beat Umbrus yet.

I think I'm going to let Tharg take a turn and maybe try to get a few more wins on Carrion Lord (or a win on Umbrus) with Gulp.

I take it you've gotten all your Morostide battling done and are working on the dreaded Castle again? Wishing you good luck and much success with it.

Random Number Generators are strange animals. It seems to me that sometimes challengers are harder than others - just random luck really. Glad some of your pets are having success.

Yes ornamented hook swords! The chancellor war shield is also another option to block physical and dark but then you will really want something that hits hard since that does no attack.

Also comet flash scales with defense, not speed. It doesn’t become useful at higher tiers until you have 2500 defense minimum, which depending on your build is most likely T11 range

I am done with morostide this year. I haven’t found a lender yet for the weapon I need to beat the castle so we’ll see.

I think I'm starting to get tired. I was equipping things to Tos for the next battle and I tried to equip a pumpkin. Maybe if she throws it hard enough it would do some serious damage. LOL

You're looking for an Oracles Staff of Enlightenment right? Hope you manage to find one. Would they possibly be in non-battler's wardrobes? Could you ask on a wardrobe/clothing thread of some sort???

Hah, looks like we're in the same boat (and neighboring time zones, I suspect). I'm trying to get some wins for my babies, but BQs come first, then my T7s and then the rest - at least until 5 wins. And I'm still missing a few ToT items, so I have to remember to do that too. Busy night! ^^
