Ooh, an old-school suggestion I forgot about. should have a 50% chance of activating a 4-round, 10-icon curse at your speed. Also tiny freeze chance.

It always does the 33 fire icons. But it has a fair freeze chance in my experience. At Bug's pet's speed, it'll only do a 15-round, 2-icon curse, according to Subetalodge, but it could add up.

I bought a Natasha today too, but it was the 3rd time I bought one, so its probably not as unique a moment :P

Do you know what speed it reaches its max potential though?

Oh my bad. I think it's 4k. 0-1999 speed gives 1st degree burn 2k-2999 gives ^ + 2nd degree 3k-3999 gives ^ + 3rd degree then 4k+ gives ^ + immolation

Not sure if the freeze chance is dependent on speed though.

- just saw your edit (I had finally turned off the computer) - thank you. I am just getting back to battling now. Wound up getting some very much needed sleep after gaming with company. Hoping to finish off Nightlady and take care of other challengers all day today. I've been using the UltimaPlus Tag which only heals 25% but also has an attack and a chance to freeze and steal but if I'm still stuck later I will think about swapping it for a borrowed Revivier. Thanks for sharing that idea - it's definitely a good one.

- saw you looking for suggestions for Nightlady - Tos who is T9 has managed five wins with this battle set:

and (just one of each) but she got the first two wins without the Shriek using just the first two scrolls. This set is based on a similar set that used to get four wins with his low AP T8 pets, so he might be a good one to check with for advice. Hope that is some help.

I have been using throwing vials and Dark Fire potions to help up my damage. The curse damage from the Rapier also helps as do Parched and Critical Stirke tear mods. And I have Singed Mods on DDS and UltimaPlus Tag which adds more curse damage when they happen to kick in.

If you get close a or if you want to spend some sP a can help as well.

Right now Tos has managed 5 wins with 2 ties and 47 losses - just to give you some idea about effectiveness. She seems to be stuck there so I will be trying some other options and can let you know if I find something that works. :-)

- i tried it with leeuwenkoning who is tier 10 and so far 1 win and 4 losses - not sure why i cannot get some more wins anymore ( maybe she is in a bad mood now that you all win from her :)

- If you are talking about Nightlady she does seem to have periods when RNG seems to make her much tougher, so don't give up. Also if you are T10 there are some better options than what Tos is using that you could try. I have been using weapon mods and potions/shards/pylonics for help as well. Tos five wins also took 2 ties and 47 losses, so just keep at it and your turn will come. Good Luck!

- i am indeed changing and using different sets to see what works best for leeuwenkoning - and just got my second win now on the nightlady :) so maybe i will be able to get those five wins in before it ends !!! so 2 wins 6 losses is not that bad i guess :)

will keep trying if not now then later tonight after work ( its just difficult to go away from pc when you know that its close rofl - but i DO need to get ready for work ( i dont think my boss would be happy if i come to late and i tell him sorry boss i had to fight a few more opponents lol

Congrats! I did the same thing a few weeks ago haha, I always skipped it in BQs but then accidentally started a battle one time. And I won, so I kept going. Surprisingly easy given the intimidating stats.
