I agree! I navigated to the challenge opponent screen and it was like WHAM! Everything is huge and blue and in yo face.

Got 5 wins on the Warhl thing, need to get the other new morostide challengers, then take pets 2-14 and beat.... just about everything OTL.

Forj you can knock out really quick with the unstable syringe and trident. Meatslab you will want to get to 5 wins after the forj so you can make the cronus blade. I needed to borrow a cronus blade for him though and I used natasha. For the mutant scientist I used cronus blade and OHS so after you beat meatslab you could probably finish off the scientist.

I'd skip PBB for now since he's more trouble than he's worth. Same for the troll.

Prak is easier if you have AU and ME, but before I had an ME I used DGR and borrowed AU.

Prodigy I was able to get 8 wins on just by using natasha and sierrac basal ice flail. I'm hoping after Rouland I can get the last two wins using natasha and MW. I don't remember who tashiin is, is that a retired challenger?

The mage I used three weapons in case he stole - OHS, natasha and I think the syringe or trident. I eventually swapped out for OHS, cronus and natasha.

The castle is giving me a tough time getting to 5 wins, but I think it's mostly because I just don't have the right stats yet. I was using OHS, AU and cronus later on for him.

Gee I sure wish that I could edit my scroll set... I want to put my FDS in there. :/

Oh gosh thank you for all that! :o I missed out on getting the AU but everyone else is manageable. Of course I won't have a syringe until I get the fifth win against mutant scientist, which I think I can do with a lucky game -- I have gotten close a large number of times but lost due to the skins of regen, so if I can blast two of them I think it will be game over.

Good luck with the castle! I am saving him for last I think and if I can't manage I'll live. I didn't really invest in weapons from the MC/etc before and I missed out on plot weapons the last couple of years, but it is nice to have goals again! I left shortly after capping, the chase for top 50 (I think I was 54 when I stopped playing) wasn't enough to interest me.

Agreed! After seeing your post I went to check it out and was immediately affronted by the new page layout. Definitely prefer the old layout a million times! Less scrolling is always better!

I don't even want to think about the list of opponents that I need to finish battling before the reset!

I'll have to try that strategy for Mutant Scientist as well as for Forj as both of those are on my never-ending list of opponents to defeat before the reset. For the time being, I'm currently focused on battling the Morostide opponents with as many of my pets as possible! I'm getting closer to that goal! One thing at a time!

- Right? I'm looking at this list and it's like, that's 1400 battles for the morostide event challengers alone, at a generous 2 min per battle, that's approx. 2 days of battling! Now granted, not all 14 of my pets can beat the tougher opponents, but the guys who can are likely going to take longer than 2 min per battle, and will likely suffer some losses too.

The battle page doesn't look any larger to me, that is weird.

Yeah, exactly. Not to mention Carrion Lord or Torchbearer whenever they decide to join in the fun. I'm currently working on getting a few extra wins on Umbrus with my higher T8-9s! It's been tedious but I've managed 5 wins on my T9 and working my way up to 5 with another!

- Keep up the good work! I just powered through them all with my T13, the tedium is coming tomorrow when I have to try with the lower guys. They both drop books now, precious books. Need those 5 wins at least! Carrion Lord, Torchbearer AND Devora. At least only one of my pets has a hope at Devora, but still, long battles. And Rouland too, again, only one pet, but long battles.

Thanks! I actually got 5 wins with one T8 now I'm trying with another T8 to see how far I can get! Figuring out what weapons to use for Umbrus is very tricky since he blocks 10x of everything and doesn't freeze! I need to figure out a strategy for Rouland! At least I have a few better higher end weapons in my armory this year!

Okay guys....tips for Umbrus, who blocks everything? As a tier 10, I thought I might have had him this year...then again I thought the same for Nightlady...

Pet two got wins up to the dentist, Cynde got 10 wins on everyone but Organ guy. If and when the other two challengers show.... pretty much all caught up on event ones.

Cynde will probably be able to handle Torch and Carrion if they show, Nope on Rouland but that is ok. Good luck to you all.

Your list is pretty similar to mine! Regarding challengers left to fight. I never got the Paramnesia challengers though, and I don't remember how they were released, and I don't remember if there was more than Buttwing Bomber and Recycle Beast. And I might even be making up Recycle Beast being one 8D

I got Baenwurath, exactly once, Mutant Scientist and Forj - Erupting twice. Menecude is taunting me at four wins. Prakherash and Tatuvichwa I haven't attempted yet.

Prodigy, Starved Saheric Spirit, Meatslab - Furious, Sophia, Warlgthroth and the Mage all have at least five wins, so I'm less concerned with them.

Troll has me down 36 losses, which is like ... barely an attempt at all. Maybe tomorrow I'll throw all my t1 weapons at him until I get bored.

I think I saw you had some tips for some of these challengers for Valhalla so I'm looking forward to getting home tonight and reading them. I am also kind of glad it wasn't just me being an idiot about the scrolls last night, that they weren't working for everyone. I sincerely hope they get THAT fixed by the time I get home, if they haven't already.

Honestly, why would you push layout changes in the middle of an event, and WHYYYYY would you tamper with buttons in the battle portions BEFORE the reset??? Why not just do it when it gets closed for it???????? Subeta hire me, I have some thoughts about planning, I think I could be useful.

I also don't have an AU so I had to borrow. was nice enough to lend me her syringe until I could win my own. I am eternally grateful because that syringe has helped me with so many opponents before I even stood a chance of getting my own against the scientist.

IKR??? I was like, why would you push these major changes during a site event when people are always upset about the site crashing during events. There's plenty of downtime in between events that it could have been started then.

I distinctly remember trying my strategy out first on mutant scientist before I faced the 7-headed hydra and it worked. I actually had a much easier time getting to five wins on the scientist than the hydra haha
