You need to block dark. More specifically you need the essence. Evil eyes is his hardest hitting weapon, with the potential to do 120 dark icons. Other than that he also deals a lot of earth and wind so either the trident, swashbuckle or OHS. I found he was using more weapons using earth so I went with OHS. It also heals more than the trident. He has a curse that makes you use only one weapon. For that, I used ME + cobalt scroll and when I ran out of cobalts, ME + SE scroll. Fatal fire is another good scroll to have.

Congrats on your wins everyone! I might see how much farther I can get with some challengers after Morostide is over, but I have a feeling I'm still at about my limit until I get stats up more.

Ah well, at least I have the reset to look forward to and I can battle everything again. :P

I am currently stuck on win 9 on Warl, contemplating finally biting the bullet and getting the OHS (especially since it'll be useful against the Mutant Scientist).

Okay So Honestly

Am I going to be able to kill the troll in the next two weeks? I haven't really tried since he was released. Should I spend all of my time doing that, or challengers I actually have a chance at?

There is a group dedicated to beating the troll, but it has been inactive since a majority of people have gotten the wins. There was talk about it becoming active again after the reset, maybe they will become active again after morostide though before the reset? You can try contacting one of the group admins

Also I used OHS +ME to beat the Warl without a single loss. Since freezing is disabled, I equipped as many cobalt and SE scrolls as I had. If his curse activated, I used ME +cobalt or ME +SE. I also had the void scroll so I could double blast during the same turn. I also used mecha + RV on the first turn since he almost 100% of the time would try and crit me on the very first turn.

i sure would i work in the day from the uk. so that my timezone...not sure how we go about it ..i had a break from here for a bit so gave up on him ..trying at the min but its like grrrrr wasting my time i think at the min...

There's only seven total challengers I haven't beat at least five times. An additional four more than are less than ten. That's with Pacifist, at least. I'm going to try to get some in for Cibophobia.

I have a lot of battling to do before the reset. Arg. Not gonna have time for it. Oh well.

Ah, thanks! I don't have an ME yet (I was always busy with uni and then didn't come back in time for the recent jelly war) but I may as well get the OHS to help out. My cobalts have been very useful for sure, and depending on the blast luck I have had "easy wins".

Good to know, ! If there is enough interest I may try to pull a group together. I saw on the old thread that was willing to help advise if the group got revived, is that still something you would be able to do?

The dark is brutal with him. The evil eyes do 60 dark icons so he has the potential to do 120 dark icons. Fatal fire will be more reliable for the dark block than the cobalt scrolls but the cobalt is better to use when his curse triggers

Yea those Evil Eyes have me giving my laptop the evil eye! I have a lot of AP open in my non-freesze scroll set, I will check and add Fatal Fires, thanks for the suggestion.
