as for Hera, one of her symbols is a peacock. Although I think any suffix could work at the end.

For the peacock I really like the names Ursa and Kestral suggested; especially Yumera and Yanrin. Both are easy to pronounce and fit nicely with the other pet names ^^

I like either the Yanrin or something like Ocuvis (Avis + Occulus) for the birb deer. Bloop is my go to for the blob.

I'm a fan of Peahera. ^^ Saw that one tossed around the news post a bit.

Peacocks have such a "someone is gonna murder me" call, so I suggest Shriekiscream for that one

Yersenia Pestis is the Plague, which is marked by black blobs, so Yersenia for the blobby one.

I'd love it if the blob was just officially called The Blob in the end. I feel like giving it a proper name would lend it a modicum of gravitas it doesn't deserve.

Well, I recently got a from a quest so I'm thinking maybe, Metoid? Ultoid? Yutoid? or maybe even just Meltoid. I don't know, I just like the suffix :)

Unix/Unyx a mixture of the word Unique and Onyx/Nyx (night) - a smol name for a smol blob also it makes it sound kind of otherworldly, at least i feel that way

Unix is an operating system, so that's probably a no go. :P

how about Ubuntu then, starts with a U

- I think that name's taken too. Maybe we should play up the mystery of the blob and how no one knows what it really is. Something like... Unown? It sounds ancient and mysterious. I'll bet no one's used it before.

We could name it Umbreo

Like Umber + Embryo (because those are blobs aren't they)

Or we could go back to Unix and drop the x. Uni still kind of implies unique, right? Uni. Yes. It's very singular, one-of-a-kind. Perfect for a virtual pet.

I actually kinda like umbreo for the blob. Plus everyone loves the eeveelutions.

Combo of: "unic" for unique, but spelled in a cool way becuase it will be such a special pet? "ode" for the epic stories that people are going to make for these blobs?

no wonder the word Unix seemed familiar, so i added Unyx to it as an afterthought - has that been used? Unown is sadly the name of a Pokemon... Q.Q Umbreo hm... not my cup of tea personally, but i do love Pokemon, so! :3 Uni sounds like the short form of university ahaha but actually it does sound nice as a name. Unicode is an actual term as well, though im not sure if its a trademarked term? and Unic/Uniq were alternative spellings that i also was considering so we can use that? (though it reminds me of unicorns haha)

For the blob, I like Yoop/Yoops. Could even go Yoopsie, but that's pretty damn saccharine and probably a little too far for me.
