Hello again! I’m posting our Thursday Sprint thread this week because is unfortunately sick. I got hit with a pretty bad summer cold (which was right around our last sprint) and just got better while Bug got hit bad. So if you happen to see something off about one of their updates, ping them and they’ll get back to you as soon as they’re feeling better <3

For those that aren’t aware - on Thursdays and I will be going through and doing some bug/glitch updates + some user suggestions around the site. One of us will post a thread like this on Thursday evenings so you guys know what has been updated/changed/etc. :) If we end up pushing something a little earlier in the week, we’ll still add it to these threads so we don’t have a billion site updates.

• Shinwa quests: I made it a little easier to see which NPC you need to go to for the quest and also linked back to Sacred Lands at the end rather than just back to her home page. If you happen to visit Shinwa later in the day after you’ve completed her quests, you’ll have a button there to go back to sacred lands now!
• Fixed Forum Group Images: The image for forum groups are no longer broken! You’ll now see this instead of a broken box:

• Polar Ice Fields: I’ve also made the links for north/west/south/east to be buttons so it’s easier to click (and the link back/alert stuff are buttons now). Alert option also on the page where you get lost!
• Free Food Center: I added three buttons below the text on the Free Food Center page, so you can easily get to ‘free food’, ‘free gift’, and ‘donate’. When donating food, there is a link back to donate more food after you’ve given Charity something (there wasn’t anything before so you’d have to hit back space and it sucked).

Item wise I’m working with artists to get items updated that are currently: the wrong size, stray pixels, faint border, etc!

The Evil Snowman and Snoman are no longer the same image (yay). The Sad Pumpkin Stitch Marker has been updated!

There was a glitch where shop names would allow HTML and sCode. To clarify, this was an error and has been fixed - coding is not supposed to be allowed in shop names.

Three new sCodes were added and can be found in the sCode reference:

• flower=USERNAME, for giving flowers during Vesnali.
• userid=NUMBER allows you to link a user by user ID number instead of username. It will show up just like the user=NAME sCode. Hopefully this will be useful for profile credits and more.
• trade=LOT NUMBER will link a specific trade lot. You'll see this code when you make a new trade too, for easy copy-pasting.

The weird double line breaks around the site should be fixed in the following places: notepad widget, profile comments, news comments, and ticket center. If I've missed them somewhere just let me know.

Continuing the Gift Center improvements, I fixed the dropdown menu defaults and added an option to view all gifts in a given year. Select "All" from the month dropdown instead of a specific month to see a whole year's gifts. I felt too sick today to tackle pagination but I hope to get to that soon.

The custom overlays page should have a nicer layout now.

The following games should now display the number of games you've played today: Balloon Sweeper, Net Gain, Burrero Basket Bonanza, Caliph's Tomb, Flight Simulator, Gravedigger, Mystic Spindles, Pete Says, Street Team, Ziara Raceway, Cybill Sledding, Tubular Tiles, Saheric Slide.

Please note that the numbers don't update in real-time, only when you refresh the page. The rest of the games are on my list to get this too. :)

- thanks so much for the amazingly quick update to the gift center. And I am thrilled to see the number of games played displayed on Caliph's Tomb and Mystic Spindles. I can't tell you how many times I've played an 11th game just to make sure that I had finished all 10. :-)

Especially huge thanks for fixing profile comments!!!! One day will we have the apostrophe fixed too? Right now in links it breaks to a /, I think.

I'm feeling better, though I might've made a bit of a mistake jumping back to work (I work at a Museum in town) and volunteering with a tech group. I went from very sick to LET'S DO ALL THE THINGS and my body is kind of like why are you like this seriously. Bug did their updates, sent me a message on slack like "I am going to go to sleep now, I can be on when you do the thread but-" and i was like nOPE YOU GOTTA SLEEP I CAN DO ALL THIS

- yikes! Please remember to take it at least a little easy and give yourself a break so you don't get sick again right away. Sick or well you and are both totally awesome - you are both more important than anything on Subeta. All of us demanding impatient users can stand to wait and learn some patience - it's a great life skill. :-)
