I'm so sorry! I have my last cat in renal failure and am happy every day she is still with me for a little longer. I bet Nacho was a sweet kitty and am sending you all hugs.

, My vet ordered some kind of vitamin and it does help her. So far she seems to feel well so I'm crossing finger. She is the last and is old also but not sure how much since she was a stray. Sorry to hear yours is unwell also. :(

Nacho Flan was 14 years old. The average is 10. Nacho lived a good life, so it was h a tbreaking to see him deteriate so rapidly

They have another younger kitty, Noodles, a Maine Coon mix, who is now 4 years old. Noodles is upset and so they are thinking of adopting a companion for Noodles from a rescue center. All of their cats that they have taken in over the years have been rescues, including Nacho, who was abandoned in a box on the side of the freeway.

The largest no-kill, no-cage cat rescue facility in California (and probably in the nation) is the Cat House On The Kings and they have a very large selection of kittens and cats to chose from. The place is amazing. They have somewhere on the order of 700-800 cats (and dogs) in residence on the 12 acre facility right on the Kings River.

- so many sweet animals need rescue...wishing I had the time and space for another. Our precious best-dog-who-ever-lived had no home when we adopted her and she is the sweetest little dog on earth...we can't even remember what our lives were like before she came along! By the way I LOVE your sepia looking image of you and Weldon...very nice!! :)

I am a firm believer in rescuing those who are lost, little animals and people. I write a lot about the subject. In my book, all my friends are those who live on the fringes of society or who are rescued. We are all in need of rescue at one point or another, truth be told. It is a basic need of all of us, so it resonates with our heart. To reach out and rescue a little creature, to love it and care for it demonstrates our own need to be taken in and loved by somebody.

sorry to hear your cat isn’t doing well. My condolences for your cat! We lost one of my sons dogs last July and his miss dearly every day.

~ best way to get lots of dances is using the phone :) I LOVE your HA!!! I put on the love bucket too and look what happened when we danced together!! It makes a big heart :o
