Back ^_^ Had to prepare lunch for when hubby gets off work in 30-60 minutes... made ceviche today YUM YUM ❤️
Hi ! Haven't talked to you in a while, how are you?
, on my way to BQ :D
[edit] Level 30/30 It's time for you to face Crawbeast!
Rats! I'm out of skips. Got GE 3x and Flamagia once. Not bad at all :D
Thanks for nagging ^_^
ooh and just in time! Hubby just told me he's done and is way home :D
HIYA! :)
Congrats on getting to 30! Before you know it, the only level 30 challenger you will skip is Crith -- and that's just because the battles take so long. lol
I've been plodding away at catching up on battles with the littles in the BC. Slowly, but surely making progress...
How have you been?
Crith is a pain but doable...
I've been doing pretty good, adjusting to married life in a new country; it's been almost a month since I came to Spain :D I've been a bit more focused on regular quests, so that I won't be rushing when seasonal items are about to be retired XD
How are you?
I'll be off for now, but hopefully I'll get a chance to come back later, but if not, I'll come back tomorrow ;)
Even if you don't do them everyday, if you try, not only will you get better, but the EXP you are saving will come in handy to get over the gap between tiers. No judging, we've all been there.

Level 30/30 It's time for you to face Crawbeast! skip It's time for you to face Crawbeast!
D:<
Lol that always seems to happen to me too when I use my skips, rip extra EXP ;~;
I've skipped Crawbeast and then told to fight Prodigy too. It's random, but at times it feels trollish. Like forfeiting a battle because Chase stole four weapons, one them being the Phoenix Quill which he used to heal up from 20hp and getting one shot by him first turn on the next attempt.
Yeah, I get it. :(
Eventually we'll be strong enough to beat them all though, and they won't be able to troll us anymore ~
I was going to say Chase will always be a troll, but I thought that way about the Hustler and he's nothing to me at this point.
Hustler can still be slightly annoying to me, depending on if he steals anything, but being able to freeze him twice in a row (usually) helps so he can't do anything. I haven't tried to battle Chase much yet, but I think our pets are close in stats so maybe I'll try a bit later. He'll still probably be annoying. ;~;
My big issue with Hustler was his Emo Spork of Doom rather than his stealing, so things could be going great and then he'd kill us both with it. I ended up getting a Frozen Ocean Curl and a Dragon Soul to add more freeze chances which got me through him.
Chase was really rough when I first started beating him. I have no idea if my issue is build, weapons, or my strategy of throwing my pet at it until one dies.
Lmao well it seems like we may have similar strategies as well, until recently at least. Now I try to pick weapons that will help counter my opponent's attacks, but a lot of my strategy is still just keep attacking until it works. :P
Trying to be clever doesn't work out too well for me, except for using wind block on Chase. That's probably because Chase can do 100 or so icons of wind with (I think) Boulderdash. Otherwise brute force and spite are how I get through battles. For hate's sake (and experience points and loot), I spit my last breath at thee.
Yeah, I know that there are strategies to be had and that certain weapons work better, but sometimes it feels like too much to keep track of. I am still working on saving for OHS and maybe Natasha eventually because those can be helpful, and I'll at least look up if the challenger allows freezing/healing/etc. before challenging them if it's one I haven't fought before. But other than that IDK, I'm not in a rush to beat everything so I'll just try every now and then and get there eventually.
Plus it's just kind of funny to me to think of my pet just using brute force to beat his way through all kinds of crazy magic battle challengers. xD
sold me her Natasha yesterday and I'm itching to use it on Chase. It worked well against Flamagia today, but it'll suck if an opponent steals it and uses it against me. I use fire and ice blockers in that fight since it can so easily go bad between the stealing and freezing without any blessing to protect your pet.
(also, I made a spreadsheet to keep track of weapon use because I'm forgetful with that kind of thing)
Good luck with the Natasha, hopefully it works out for you!
A spreadsheet might be helpful... I pretty much just do BQs though, and the same strategy works for all of them up to level 26 or so depending on which impossible challengers I get. The only reason I battle other opponents is to try and get the 5 or 10 wins against them, which I haven't been doing much lately because I think I'm caught up on most of them through Extremely Hard. I might check again later this week or over the weekend and try to beat a few more, but I think for now I need better stats or better weapons before I can really beat more opponents.
I just created a spoiler tab called "Battle Strategy" in my notepad on my left sidebar-. I've lost too many screenshots and excel pages over the years :P
Then I'd have to organize my screenshots! Actually, it might be worth it to try to get the weapon images and put them into my spreadsheet. If I took an extended break that might help me get back into a routine faster since I wouldn't have to remember what weapon had what name.
I just use one set for most of my BQs too. /lazy
In backups I trust.
I'm too lazy for that so I actually use the weapon sets XD. I've got a set for Chase, one for Crawbeast, and one that works for everything until GE. The set for Chase is actually quite versatile as I need only to swap two items out for another attacker plus freezer for other challengers (PBB and helmet for Snow Fairy/ Kitty; OHS for Crithbolcan). I used to have another set for GE/ Flamagia but now I can beat both with my default set so that one available set now goes to Prodigy. :P
Even when I had only 90-ish AP I needed only one scroll set that works for all Imp. challengers apart from Prodigy so that helps a ton too.
