I probably am just unlucky then, I try to pay attention to when I get tokens from winning and I haven't noticed getting any impossible tokens from him. Maybe he'll start being nice eventually, I've been getting him in BQs quite a bit lately.
Oh yeah he has the same amount of experience as the sewer beast but it sounds like he is at the easier end of the impossible challengers. The experience pay out is low for an impossible challenger though and the loot isn't anything worthwhile to me. I'm going to skip on this challenger. Thanks for the info!

OMG i keep reading tomes to my pets instead of using. fml
Yikes so sorry!
They really shouldn't have made that an option.... since you can get Intel from the tomes already.
Or at the very least SPACE things out....
Yes. Use should be on top. Read should be after and have a space in between them.

The Perfect Tea Party Guide has been read to Albert Whisker! Your pet has gained an alchemy point!
I have almost read tomes to my pets a couple of times now. I always double check before I click ok
Ikumoradeekanox You find a Maniacal Skull Fruit

The new CS challenger doesn't have the best loot. I thought there was always a weapon?
Does skipping to lvl 15 of BQ have any benefit other than just not battling weak opponents?
Not all challengers drop weapons. Some drop books, wearables, minions and the one this month drops a sticker and food.
There is no benefit to skipping the first 15 levels other than you get through battle quests quicker. If you have the time to complete all the battle quests, I wouldn't skip them since you are losing out on experience. The only time I really would skip is if it's close to midnight and you want to beat the challengers that give out more experience before the reset.
- I just mean CS opponents. I thought the monthly ones, typically, drop weapons. Oh well! It's useful for EXP I guess.
Ah, makes sense. I'll continue doing them all then, easy enough.
Thanks.
Some of them do. Crithbolcan even dropped a scroll, but not all of them do. Looking at all of the opponents I have unlocked, all of them drop a weapon except for the challengers from this year (sewer beast, CAPS droid, menecuda). I am missing a lot of opponents though so I think I only went after the CS challengers that either gave out a lot of experience or had weapon loot.
You're welcome. Yeah if you complete them all, that's 26k experience every day.
- I guess I was just being presumptuous. I've bought all this years CS challengers though, which I kind of regret if there's no weapons haha. Oh well! Thanks again.
The biggest value in buying the CS challengers, imo, is the experience ~ especially if you are competitive and/or have a pet in the top 100. More so if you have multiple battle pets -- even if they are too small to take on the challengers right away. For me, the CSC cost is less than if I were to buy boosters with sP for the equivalent experience. I have 21 pets I battle with, so any loot is a secondary boon.
Weapons have to be coded, so that is probably why there haven't been any lately. Some of the glaring gaps have been addressed so the need isn't as urgent as it was. Plus, the challengers sell better if they are wearable so that is no doubt where the focus is as CS challengers go.
I wouldn't regret buying/unlocking CS challengers. In the long run, they will pay off -- even if there have been no weapons this year. Who knows? Maybe they will have a December bonus challenger for those of us who bought every foe -- as they have done before. So hang in there! :)
I agree with the experience, but this challenger wasn't worth it for me, especially when I have so many challengers already unlocked that all of my other pets except for my main pet can't beat yet. I think this guy gives out a little more than 16k experience once you get to 10 wins. That's about 13 stats. If I used two tomes, I would get the equivalent amount in stats. Granted, it would be across the board and not in one specific stat unless I used a booster for that specific stat. It would still come out cheaper to buy the tomes than the challenger, given the price of CSC.
Like I said, having 21 pets it's always a good value for me. Plus, there will eventually be a reset -- so the value increases. : ) In the long run, your other pets will eventually be able to beat this one too, so it will pay off. I can see why you (and others) are disappointed though. The math isn't going to add up for some. Hopefully, having the CS challengers on the BF sale will become a tradition -- giving people a chance to scoop up any they may have missed earlier in the year.
Very true. I only have 7 and I only really battle with two at a time. I'm also waiting for that reset. That's going to be A LOT of challengers for me to go through again with everyone x.x

Ok, all my formally untrained pets are now tier 2. Everyone will be 3s next month. Taking things slowly for a little bit with them before picking up the pace.
