I am quite pleased with this accomplishment a few minutes ago.

I was aiming for another perfect record but I was still learning the correct strat and he completely nuked me on the second battle the first time for a little over 11k damage, as I did have the full battle info turned on to get an idea of what I was up against. Whole hell of a lot of icons. I found that I could survive at least one turn between freezes with a 30% heal, then another turn with 20% and a Void. I managed a lot of lucky freezes, and I usually overhealed to compensate in the final few turns. After that I figured it didn't really matter and turned the battle info off, so I don't know exactly how hard he hit during the fifth battle the first time but he nuked me again on the third turn. The strat worked out well enough to come out at full health by the end of the second attempt. All in all, 7 battles for 5 wins and 2 losses.

And that also marks a total win-record of 2400 since the last reset.

Congrats on your wins against the Paramnesia challengers. What did you use as your weapons. I need to try to finish them up. Not doing a great job at it either.

dang. good wins. the paramnesia challengers are tough.

Against PRB I used the same set but I swapped out BHB/AoD definitively for AoN, which usually broke on the first use.

My scroll-set consisted of Terra Focujin, Unstable Fairy, Gift of the Forj, Spacial Abyss, 3(2 against buttwing) Voids, 1 Psycho Smasher, 4 Shrieks, and 3 Gale Force scrolls. I also started used Negating and Regenerating Pylonic on PRB wins 3-5.

Against PRB I used this strat: Helmet+Mecha+Spacial Abyss turn 1, then Cronus+Malhuili+Shriek/Smasher/Gale for as long as I could chain freeze. If a freeze failed to take I'd use C+M+Terra Focujin for one turn if my health was near full, then C+M+Void when reduced to around half-health and bank on Void freezing. If I still had my healers as his health was winding down I'd use one attacker and a healer to ensure he wouldn't kill me suddenly. If he got off a crit earlier in the battle I'd use AoN+RotL/PQ+Void while I still had them. I'd save the Negating Pylonic toward the end.

That one turn using C+M+Terra Focujin seemed to be key to lasting long enough to win once my freezers/blockers did run out.

I'm going to try this out again on PBB in a bit and see if it holds.

Holy wow. Helmet+Mecha+Spacial Abyss, C+M+Freezer Scroll(including Void) for a pretty easy win 9. Then Helmet+CotI+SA turn 1 for nearly no damage, C+M+Shriek/Smasher/Void for a nearly flawless win 10. That was pretty much a cakewalk.

I'm going to copy that and put it in my notes program. I need better weapons. Maybe I should save up for that (Malhuili). I have 6 wins against PBB. Need to finish that soon. PRB I have no wins and 2 losses.

- thank you! Well, at least you're still here, so that's something. I hope you rediscover some of the fun. I can't believe how excited I am today, and I'm sure you have also felt that way before. I know T13 has a wide range, but aren't there new opponents that you can beat along the way? Or some other way to measure progress? By the way, General Error seems to like my Shinwas Short Sword as much as I do because he kept stealing it. :-) So you still helped me to beat him, but in a somewhat unorthodox way.
