- I'm using one PW an Aftershocks and a GoTF. With 37 AP that's my limit , although there are a few opponents where I've wished I could swap that GoTF for a couple more PWs. I have been gathering ingredients to work on making some new scrolls and slowly reading to all four pets (T9, T8, T5 and my new baby T3). Sometimes it feels like Tos is at that stage where she's just getting big enough to defeat a few of the tougher challengers, but then it always seems like she doesn't have enough weapon space or AP to bring everything she needss - so if I have attack, the block is missing, or if I have a freeze, the defense is missing and I die before I use it ... But we are definitely gettnig there and enjoying ourselves together.

Big achievement getting from T3 to where you are in just a year. I don't battle nearly as much as you and have been saving EXP and boosters for later, so I think it took a year to get from T8 to T9 :-)

I thought posted that it was an 85% freezer when she noted that she had originally forgotten to check the once per battle box (so, at first it was an infinite use 85% freezer). It's a bit earlier in this thread.

I haven't been that frustrated at a challenger in years. It was only 24 losses, but my god it felt like 2400.

No more gelly war for me! Two pets at 5 mil damage, all the loot I need obtained and...I'm tired of all this goop lol

Hm, is this the place to ask about weapon lending? :c I was hoping to see if the hook swords might help me against the Stomper. I have the stats, but not the weapons apparently.

For what it's worth, I only had luck with OHS and AU. Ether might work in place of the AU though, especially with that extra mod slot.

Endalin has done a total of 5,190,746 damage to Hydragellos! Pretty darn close with my estimate of how many battles it would take. break time.

For sure, slow and steady is probably a lot more cost effective. I lost count on how much I spent, it was through boosting that I managed to get up so high so quick. The mage is like my best friend at the moment haha. Probably have used over 10k amulets by now ._. Thats what I really liked about boosting though, your intel was raised at the same rate and is why I have like 170AP on my pet, tomes are so good haha. Wouldn't it be more prudent to use a healer instead of GoTF with low AP? Idk, I'd probably choose another freezing scroll over that. I actually regret buying a second GoFT because I feel I rarely use either haha.

I feel you so much, easily the hardest challenger I've faced in long time too.

Do crit hits ignore defence or allow you to hit first?

- if I actually had choices I might. I do need to survive long enough to freeze and PW is a low level freezer. I also use UltimaPlus Tag which has a 25% heal, medium freeze and sometimes steal (for the freeze and sometimes for the heal) and I've been using the Rapier of Error. If I use enough BoNA modes, my weapons don't all disappear, but without parched mod damage and crit strike mods, most of the time I don't hit for much more than his heal. So i'ts really an RNG game to see if I get enough freezers before I die. A couple more PW might help rather than the GoTF, or they might not. Sort of depends on the luck of the draw of that battle. And what he steals from me. At least the GoTF (and the PW I do have can't be stolen). I would certainly be willing to try out any suggestion if I have the ability to do so. So far my two wins have mostly just been persistence and a little luck - plus a borrowed Gelatin Slayer coupled with Blessed Trident and Rapier - also AoN and Phoenix Quill but they have a tendency to get stolen before I'm ready to use them - at least that leaves me with some attack though. :-)

What's a good strategy to use against him besides freezing him to death? Although I'm not sure if Tziety can take on him (and if he can, maybe not more than once ;P)
