Yesterday was the first time I've experienced this problem and the bird I was looking for was: After clicking around in the Arctic Frost for well over an hour, on and off, I finally took one I already had from my minion zoo and said I found it. Now, today I'm looking for a and it's been several hours of playing on the site and clicking around haven't found it yet...so frustrating! Argghhhh!

This happens a lot to me, happened with the bug catching too. I usually end up buying the minion from user shops.

- bird watching uses floating items and because Vesnali started they are now almost all flowers so finding birds will be much harder until Vesnali ends. I usually just stop bird watching (or whatever the seasonal activity is) during floating item events. Otherwise, the only bird I have trouble finding is the Omen Islands Gannet. It took me several hours to find it the other day (right before Vesnali started) but it did eventually appear. Hope that is helpful.

- if you have found and turned in a bird and she asks for the same one on another day, you can get duplicates. I think you're only supposed to get one of them each day, so you're not supposed to be able to get two of today's bird.

- does a bird have to be in a particular place when it's regional (I'm not asking about the land, but about a particular place within the land)? I thought that you were able to find the bird anywhere on site (or anywhere in it's region for those birds), rather than it being a hunt for it at every place on the map sort of thing.

I had surmised exactly what you mentioned to me! I want to stop but didn't want to miss an achievement of some kind. While I'm not very up on achievements, I still never want to miss one if possible. :-P

thanks for the idea.. took one from the minion zoo also. It should be easier to find though...

- as far as I know the only Bird Watching achievement so far is A World of Birds and you need to find birds from eight different regions of Subeta. Once you've done that bird watching is to get the birds, or just to enjoy the game. (Of course they can always add something new. :-) )

If you really want to keep playing during a floating item event, just try it. If you already have the bird that's wanted, you can always use it to turn in (since you get to keep it) and reset the game. If you don't have it you can just buy one, since they're almost all fairly inexpensive. If you wind up looking for Omen Islands which is the only expensive (and hard to find) bird, then you could probably borrow one. Personally, I might just want to keep looking for several days until I find it (but then I have several of the old birds and I'm pretty sure I found at least two of each of the new ones). Whatever you choose, the birds will be back after Vesnali. :-) Wishing you much luck finding birds and a Happy Vesnali.

I had trouble with the Omen one as well. Is there anyway we can see which birds we have discovered on the achievement? I'm not even sure how many of the eight I have found already.

I got the omen islands bird yesterday and no matter how many times I refreshed I couldn't find it. Fortunately I had one stashed away. I forgot about the floating items thing making it harder so I started another search today. I think I'm going to pull that one out too and then take a break until Vesnali is over.

I don't think there is. There's no item to click on for the achievement. You just have to keep looking and hope she asks for a regional bird.

the arctic bird is the one I have trouble finding, too. Pulled one out of inventory to reset the quest. I guess I'll wait till after Vesnali to try again.

I've been having this problem for three days now and I suspect versnali is the problemmaker.. I just finished the quests of the other days with my TCcollection, but as I wanted to have more birds it's not satifying. I have the Omen Island Gaunnet now and I don't have one backup.. Didn't found one for hours, still.. :c

Can anyone tell me if they still found birds during versnali?

Same problem here, but with the Veta-something bird. Searched for it for two days and nothing, so I just gave up and used the one I had in my minion zoo. Now I should looking for the Ruby Crowned Kinglet, but I have the feeling it is not going to pop out either. Don't know if it's related, but I started having this issues once Vesnali started (just like ). Too many floating items around, maybe.

I've been refreshing at Omen island the whole day for my flowers, did get nice flowers but no bird, so I guess chances for birds have gotten reaaally low?

yeah i'm gonna say vesnali broke it. i've had the arctic frost one since vesnali began. >.>

I believe the flowers are cancelling the ability to get a bird. Numerous hours on site each day and unable to get a bird. I've had to use birds from my zoo to complete the quest. Others are experiencing same issue. Please fix

Although some suggest it's just harder to find with the flowers, it's not the case. They're not showing up at all, even with numerous hours of searching :(

I had the same issue for two days with the Blue Jay (meaning I pulled one from my vault to show Rosemary, then the next day she wanted to see the darn thing again, lol); then yesterday she wanted Downy Woodpecker and I never found one. Still trying to find one even though it's not regional, and I was on a LOT more than normal yesterday because of Vesnali.

But I didn't realize that other floating items affected the rate of the birds appearing, so it makes more sense now!

Same here I have been having problems finding the birds as well since Vesnali started so I just been getting them out of my Minion Zoo if I have them and if not buying them from user shops, then once I have completed the quest I put them back into my Minion Zoo for the next time if needed. I also have noticed that since Vesnali has started the flowers have taken the place of the birds in some instances.
