If a food item had a higher value, that means the pet gets full faster but it shouldn't stay full for 12+ hours, right? That might explain the pets who eat only 8 or 9 items, but their hunger should be going down as normal, shouldn't it?

I don't think my pet has eaten more than a 1000 at this point but but I've been trying to feed him more lately. I guess I have to keep an eye on his hunger from now on. x.x

You're welcome...and yeah it being recent is why I remembered it so easily, I just read it a day or two ago :).

Yes, exactly right.

Pet hunger glitches from time to time. I haven't noticed it myself because with 7749 food eaten, I rarely come across more than 1 or 2 foods my gourmand hasn't eaten, and my other pets only get fed for battling.

It's inconsistent. I fed my pets just 1 item, and have them battle one by one over the course of a few hours, and then suddenly at 1 or more hours on the dot they all become hungry and disappear from my battle list. I fed them intentionally instead of the resort so I don't have a clutter of pets which slow down the challenger start page, but I still end up with several pets there because the hunger doesn't go down 1 point every hour.

Edit: And now it happened again at 10PM.

I only have one pet that I feed, and lately he's been at 0/10 most of the time because I'll only feed him once a day for battling. But I have noticed that sometimes he'll stay at 1/10 for a good few hours after I've fed him, and that's only with one food item too. He's also my gourmand who has eaten nearly 6k foods, so yeah something does seem to be broken with regards to pets getting hungry too slowly.

Sounds like it might just be glitched right now. My pet went down to 4/10 after I was gone for... 7ish hours? Maybe 8-9sih? I can't remember when I last tried to feed him before going to bed. I don't think he's gotten lower than 3/10 recently, if not since I started actively feeding him.

could this be moved to the Glitches subforum when you get a chance?

I have an infinity berry fed to two of my pets and they still go hungry. Though, these were adoption finds so I don't know if the effects will carry over. Either way, I'm still confused with how hunger/feeding works on Subeta shrugs

The Infinity Berry won't won't make your pets never go hungry again, the description for it is a bit misleading. I've never used one myself, but I'm pretty sure it's the berry that will be infinite (as in it won't disappear when you feed it to a pet like regular foods). So you can keep using the same item to feed them when they get hungry again.

Hunger is still incredibly messed up. I'm coming back after 7+ hours to find my gourmand has only gone down 1-3 points.

I've been stuffing my permanent pets all day (8 of them) and at one point after an hour, they all went down one point. Well and good. Next time, they didn't and after I checked again, a couple had dropped to 4/10 while some had only dropped a couple points. Now it's been at least three hours and no ones hunger has budged. At all. It would be nice if there was just some consistency here.

Do you have a rare item that just won't sell? Are you going through the high levels of Item Hunt? Or maybe you just HATE that blue bunny? Then you should join IHH helpers and IHH bargain in the forum groups!

i fed widow 10/10 a bit after the news went up (11:34a my time, so around 2:30 eastern?), and she went down one point every few hours and then stalled out at 7/10 at some point (not sure when exactly, unfortunately, but early/mid afternoon). hunger can be inconsistent but i feel like it's been a while since it's has stalled like this? s:

e/ she just made it 6/10 at around 10p pst/1a est. guess it's just extra slow today :v

e2/ 7a pst - i went to bed at around 11p and she was 5/10, it's what, eight, nine hours later and she's still at 2/10? really???

I wasn't able to feed my gourmand for hours before I went to bed (11pm-12am MST) and now that I'm back about 8am MST I was only able to feed him two foods before he was full again.

My gourmand's hunger drops 1 point per 4-5 hours, even up to eight. That means I can feed 3-6 items daily. So... what the hell? When I was starting the challenge it was possible to feed at least 10 items daily. Then at some point we were told gourmand might be getting hungrier a bit faster. So...??

And then when I feed my battle pet just one item to get battle quests it sometimes runs out before I even finish it (so much less that an hour). I'd really appreciate to see this fixed for once.

Yeah, I know it was mentioned in the news post with the achievements that something related to pet hunger is being worked on. But I'm not sure why we need something new when the way it is now doesn't even work properly...?

My pet dropped down 1 point shortly after I last posted and I fed him immediately. It took over 4 hours for him to drop another single point. This is ridiculous.

so it's taking widow over 24 hours to go back to zero (she's still at 1/10, and it's almost noon), even with the (placebo-like) checking of her foods eaten page and everything. i'm sure whatever new food-related activity we're getting will be very nice, but like... can hunger get fixed so it's actually "faster" for gourmands or whatever it was supposed to be, or at least so it drops at a consistent rate? :c

e/ she finally hit 0 at or around noon/3p, so the total is like 24 and a half hours. :

Good grief. My gourmand pet has been at 10/10 for 12 hours already. She normally drops pretty quick.
