So, I'd like to make a really important statement, because there seems to be some confusion regarding sexuality vs gender.

Transgender people are people who were born with a biological sex that does not match who they really are. This has nothing to do with how they identify on the scale of sexuality. Transgender people can be straight, gay, bi, lesbian, pan, ace, fluid, etc.

Sexuality merely relates to who you're sexually attracted to. It can be men, women, neither, both, or unimportant. You can be sexually attracted to non-binary people, same sex people, differently sexed people....whether you ever act on it or not. It can be something you've always known or something you discover about yourself later in life. Sexuality is often a sliding scale, with people falling all over it, not generally only at one end or the other (see the Kinsey Scale and the corresponding research for more information).
