She looked up at Ellenor, "Ya...I will be ok...sometimes kind gestures just seem to blow up in my face." she gave a small smile. "It goes back to the whole mimicking people and it not..working so well for me." she chuckled.

She narrowed her eyes at Joe for a moment but could sense he wasnt being malicious. "Well...I guess for me..its a lot of things. When I first saw them, they looked like a shaggy member of the weasel family. I like their expressions...and how they chuckle and laugh. They have a range of noises...I love the tufts on their ears and obviously their prehensile tails...I was never much of a monkey fan...dont hate them...just" shrugs "I like how they play...and that they are solitary..yet will hang out with one another from time to time. They are intelligent...they have a pet disposition...but most people get them when their babies and dont realize how big they get. Im rambling again..." she looks down and blushes..."ya..."

Joe nodded. "Those are good reasons to have them as a favorite critter. "

He looked at Ellenor and chuckled quietly. "Don't like waiting around much...?" he inquired.

ellenor turns towards - lottie and joe- did you see the young boy run out just now? i wish i could help him. but i don't know if he would want me to.

Magnus sighed and went over to Eros. He'd known first hand how intimidating the older boy could be. "Eros," Magnus said coming close to him but not touching him. "I think you scared 'im. 'E's such a little thing and 'e ain't got a friend or nothing. I think 'e's gonna leave...c-could you come with me and Drew and talk ta im? Please? I mean you can be...er intimidating... at least you were to me. "

Niall was sitting on the grass outside the shop twisting his fingers and muttering to himself in Gaelic. His voice did sound very upset.

Drew bit his lip debating. He didn't want Magnus upset with him and he was loathe to leave his friend, but he also wanted to help the new kid. "If you'd rather not..." he said, "I could go. I'll be right back. Promise. I'm not leaving you, Mags. I just want to make sure he's going to be alright." Giving Magnus a squeeze on the shoulder, Drew headed for the door.

As he opened the door and peered out, he saw Niall. "is there room for one more to help hold up the wall?" he asked with a smile.

He stopped, however, when he heard his name. He turned to see Magnus, narrowing his eyes when the werewolf said something about scaring someone. "Scared who, Mags?," Eros asked, cocking his head innocently. It took Eros a few seconds to recall his last interaction. "Oh. That kid?," Eros realized and then indifferently glanced around the area to see if the boy was still around. He hadn't paid attention so he didn't see the boy run out. "I'm intimidating?," Eros asked with an amused look, but then sigh. "Fine," he agreed reluctantly only because one of his friends asked.

ellenor opens her books and reads while waiting for lottie- and - joe to reply i wonder what everyone is doing she says quietly.

Magnus smiled, "yeah sometimes you are. Thanks." They came out to find Drew already there. Niall was not looking at him but the grass.

"If ya wanna hold up the wall," Niall said. The boy wasn't paying attention to the other males coming out--he actually hadn't noticed them.

Drew glanced back as he heard others come out and saw Magnus and...um...he wasn't sure what the older boy's name was. At the moment though he was more focused on the kid whose name he did know. He went over and plopped down on the grass near Niall. "Nah...I'd rather try to make new friends then worry with a wall," he said. "it's rough being new at the school. Especially since I'm older and never been to any of the other wizarding schools before."

"He looks taken care of, can I go now?," Eros asked quietly, although he knew what the answer might be. Eros scratched the back of his head, waiting to see they would get noticed while thinking about how to not be intimidating. Eros looked back to Magnus. "What exactly do you want me to say, mate?," he genuinely asked, never having been in the position where one of his friends was making him go be nice to someone. "Hey, mate. Didn't mean to scare ya earlier. Let's be friends?," he practiced quietly on Magnus. It sounded so cheesy.

Walking up the street with her eye on the sign that read Las Palmas, Magdalena Hidalgo, caught sight of a familiar poster. Her father had shown her a smaller flier just like it at dinner last night, suggesting she go and meet some students before officially starting next term a Hogwarts.

As she approached, she saw some boys near the front door. Having traveled much with her family the 13 year old wasn't shy, though she could read a situation well enough to know when to interrupt and when to avoid. This one just seemed awkward.

ellenor looked out the window and a saw a new girl walking up to the door. she was thinking of how she would invite this girl to the table.

Niall heard Drew and nodded but he didn't say anything. Then he caught sight of both the lycan and the scary teen. Then saw a girl and the kid looked horrified and unsure what to do or where to go.

"Er, 'ow bout... er... introducing yourself and saying that you're an idiot who didn't mean ta scare 'im?" Magnus said with a twinkle of a joke in there.

Merlin had slip out of Las Palmas to go find something he needed for a gift and was finishing the present in a corner of Hogsmade since the event was taking a bit to begin, "Looks good." He placed it inside a blue fabric and fold it then tap it with his wand to form a fabric gift bag. "Cute."

Shaking his head at the terrified look in the younger boy, Drew said quietly, "Don't worry about them. Just focus on one person at a time. You can talk to me...or one of them if you'd rather. don't let a lot of people upset you, Niall. Once you feel comfortable with one then you can add another to talk to. It can be overwhelming when everyone shows up and wants your life story all at once."

ellenor decided to try to be more friendly she waved to the new girl. she tried to say you can come sit at our table. but the words were to quiet too be heard. she thought.
