It's funny cuz everyone is talking about how terrible the old HAs were (affectionately, of course) but at the same time there's a lot of items here I would still use. I actually have a Dream Dragon as well as a Love Bucket and they are both wonderful for cute/fantasy HAs.

+ recolors, esp with + recolors i think...? also (wig with long bangs i can't remember -- the one in the last green avatar tris posted, maybe??) + is another one that i remember being A Thing

I remember it being used quite a bit as well. It was revamped though, and I think it was another revamp that kind of upset some people.

oh man, i thought it was that but it didn't look how i remembered so i figured i was misremembering things. yeah, i can def see that being a revamp that caused some trouble lmao ouch

Yeah, I still kind of prefer the old style of the wig myself, but oh well. The comments section for that revamp was not very kind, that's all I remember.

Already mentioned, but that item and other Followings. They were a good way to make money. & and some head bopper balls item that I don't remember the name of. I remember a lot of people wearing these curly horns after we could make avatars. I remember a lot more non-human looking avs that were based more on pets back then too. haha.

-That for a while, people wanted to wear all of the parts of the Subeautique or Costume Trunk... trunks items at the same time to show them off. -Then people decided that you DO NOT DO THAT and that it was very tacky to wear matching set items. -People being upset that HAs, that is human avatars, were not HUMAN. -People trying to color match everything and wearing lots of wigs and, if you did not do that, you were not very good at avatars. People had a lot of complaints!

I feel like we've finally gone back to more of a "do what you want" with avatars. And, because old, tacky avatars are fun: The game where you put the most expensive thing from each layer on and showed it off: (I do not recall how we knew what was the most expensive)

oh my god, yes, i remember the dragon horns, tails, and wings being SO popular and expensive, as well as all of the lucky/magical telenine items. also ANYTHING bloodred!

I forgout about that bubblegum look with the short hair all over. (people using them made it really hard to tell users apart too.) Thanks for that particular trip down memory lane. ;)

Wow! Look at all that red! You were color-match stylish ahead of your time! :D I forgot about all the blood red items for all the hardcore (xcore?) avatars. haha. There was some skirt too, and the spiked boots from before that all the cool users were wearing. As a side note, I was (and still kind of am) upset when the dragon tails got revamped from regular/kind of thick tails that looked like the item image to the skinny-twirly ones that they are now... :p

Ha! If you had that on, I'd ❤️ that avatar so quick~ So, yes! super jealous, since that was a cute dark matter themed avatar. It even has those spiky boots that everyone seemed to love, has that heart breaker necklace, and is all color-match-y. You really hit past trend gold with that one. ;D

I still like some of these lol and wear the bubblegum sometimes ... The delicious corn and ALL the followings were my favorites. Never got to collect them all and finally removed some real old items off my WL It had become embarrassing XD

You know...I was going to take you up on that and I cannot recreate it x.x that chest piece over the dark matter tank top...I cannot find it. Which means either I am blind, or it was been revamped beyond recognition.

Totally enjoying seeing these old items and the super great HA's we made back then!! :-D I remember so many of them that I wanted so badly, and probably a few still on my WL!!
