Tamsin smirked and answered. "Very well boy, don't pick any flowers, just tell me where they are. I will cut them myself. Still...I can give you a charm, still it is not 100% safe, in fact I prefer not to use charms since...well you don't know what magic they will release and the charm in the end could make things worse."

Merlin was getting anxious again and was mumbling to himself. "This is going bad...this woman..if only."

MAgnus realised his bird was not in the right place. "Excuse me," He said picking up the bird and racing off. He was back in very little time but had missed quite a bit, even though he was fast. Maybe setteling her into the cage in his dorm room took too long?

She wrapped her arms around Lees waist. "Guys...if I do get all nuts...like crazy nuts...stun me...if you cant...run." She looked up at Lee. "I know you could probably take me down...but better to chase me up a tree ok? One I cant jump to another from...I just...I dont want to hurt anyone and I havent heard of this flower. Im sure they are right about...you know the headmistress not putting us in danger...just..Drew has a point." she looked at Drew and gave him a supportive smile. "You make valid points..." she lowered her voice. "and I kinda wonder if Miss Tamsin wouldnt find the whole situation amusing or something...she looks a bit...off. But Mags is right...Paul was a bit off too...I wanna do this...just want to be prepared."

Merlin and Tamsin both nod after Lee's comment on shields, but the boy stayed quiet, he was thinking if he should have accepted that offer from the headmistress after all.

"I like the smart boy." She looked at Lee. "A shielding spell could work, lets hope so...still i wanted to see Merlin with blue ears or something- haven't anyone told you...that your ears are funny?"

Merlin blushed and looked away, she was a real pain.

Drew looked over at Lee at his comments. He wasn't about to tell the other boy that he'd never actually been to a wizarding school until now and hadn't learned any spells and charms. But he was glad to see that he wasn't the only one not trusting this woman. Her next comment pretty much sealed the deal with Drew. He stepped closer to Lee and whispered, "She's using us...but I don't know why. Have you ever heard about these flowers before?"

Magnus was just eager to go pluck the flowers. Maybe this was part of his "werewolf" nature. He was bouncing on the balls of his feet. "When can we goooooooo," he whined. The flower affects sounded fun He looked at Drew wondering if the older boy thought him nuts. Everyone else seemed to be more reserved at the idea.

Before Lottie could stop it from escaping her lips she muttered "I think this woman has sniffed to many of these "flowers" shes having us go after." She could sense Drews apprehension and leaned over and put and arm around his shoulders...mostly...shes short...give her a break! "We will work together..." she nodded and gave him a reassuring smile. "Mags I think it was a good idea, just in case, to put your bird in the dorms..."

She looked at Merlin and Tamsin "If they say its all good...then lets do this...we are wasting daylight." she knew magical plants could be dangerous, but just like Mags she wanted to go into the woods.

Lee looked at Charlotte. "Don't worry, I will just shift and lay on you, you will be fine, I won't let you hurt anyone...hope I don't hurt anyone either." Then he laughed at her comment about sniffing too many flowers.

Lee looked down at Drew. "Never heard of them in all my studies, "he said quietly, "but they exist if they have seen them. I don't like it, but we are here, and I want to see the forest...so let's hope curiosity doesn't kill the cat..um..dog," he said with a small chuckle.

Tamsin looked at the reluctant boy and smiled. "Yes I am using you to create an evil potion that will turn this school into hell and bring back the dead, including the dark lord!" Her eyes seemed to pop out of her eyes and she made a wicked gesture then stopped and started laughing. "You are sooo dense, just chill boy! They are just flowers! This is an adventure! Where are the griffindors? Someone send me an adventurer!" When she heard Magnus desperation to leave she smiled. "THANK YOU! Someone with the spirit of an adventurer like myself...and Merls, don't deny you wanna come too."

Merlin nods but pretended to be calm.

"Well, wanna make sure she's safe... and of course, I wanna play with the flowers."

Magnus belly laughed when she mentioned using the flowers for nefarious deeds. He liked her. "You sound like me friend, Paul Freeman. 'E's an auror too. 'Ow do you know Merlin?" he asked unable to keep the question in his head. (hehe people ping Magnus all the time lmao.)

Drew gave Charlotte a smile as she attempted to hug him and reassured him. "There's just something off about this whole thing and especially her," he said quietly. Then he got a wicked gleam in his eyes. "We could just find the flowers and then let her have the 'fun' of cutting them."

At the witch's comments, Drew said, "Sorry, you've got a bunch of snakes with you. Guess you'll have to make the best of it too. We've got adventure and brains...unlike some."

Lee rolled his eyes at the mention of Paul. Yes, she did remind him a bit of the uptight auror, and of course the boy would like her.

"Do these flowers need any sort of special containment once they are picked and have discharged their magic, or are you going to just stuff them into a satchel..? Meaning do we need to bring them to you immediately afterward, or just hold onto them..?" he asked Miss Tamsin.

Lee laughed at Drew's comment.

Suddenly Merlin jumped and couldn't help it anymore. "Guys, can we just forget about the flowers for a second? How many opportunities do we have to go WITH PERMISSION to the Dark Forest? This is a one in a million opportunity to see amazing creatures you have never seen before, the most beautiful trees you could have probably seen, find the most rare plants, and have an adventure in school. I want to go already! Are there any more important questions that are not worries about a harmless spell? Who cares if we grow another limb for a few hours or get a big tooth or something, we will go to the forest!!" Merlin obviously didn't care about the magic, they surely will find a way around it, and hey, maybe even Tamsin knew how to repel it and was just trying to scare everyone.

"Paul? I think I know him...or is it another Paul? If its my Paul, he is cool. Now..I met Merlin here in the headmistress office- he is such a cutie...I just kept sending him owls." She laughs. "I found a pen pal."

Merlin rolled his eyes and shook his head.

She muttered to Drew and Lee as Mags was way to excited to notice. "I think she's like...a lemur animagus...Lemurs have orange eyes dont they?" she thought...."yes...some do..." she answered herself. "Well guys...if Im going to get nekkid or do something crazy...may as well be with you. Just...pass it off as some weird drunk story for later eh?" She gave a smile and a shrug.

EDIT "Oh sure Merlin...Im great...lets go....Im sure you will love me ambushing people with a tail that has the strength of a python...Its fun!!!" she jumped up and down. "OH OH!! and the teeth and claws...YALL LIKE GETTING BITTEN AND SCRATCHED RIGHT!? WHOOT!!!" she fist pumped the air. "Lets do this!!!!" she did want to go...but maybe her sarcasm would get the point across to be careful around her.

Lee chuckled at Charlotte. "Drunk story...I like that...and afterward we all go to town and get drunk so it will seem more plausible."

Lee stared at their prefect. "Yes and there are about a thousand things out there that could kill us while we are under the effect of the flower's spell, too. I have heard about what could be out there including some things I do NOT want to run into. So yes, I want to know more about these flowers before we run off half cocked and get eaten, ok..or attacked by a crazed Charlotte."

"Drew," Magnus said, "I'll pick 'em okay? I don't mind. It sounds like FUN." "Yes! that's the spirit Merlin! Come on guys this'll be fun! Anyone wanna race me?" "'E probly is. Bit reckless, three claw marks on 'is face from capturing a werewolf during the day time." "She can protect us, and... so can I. 'Ead mistriss wouldn't put us in extreme danger. This'll be good for us."

Lee sighed. "Go on and run off then Magnus, nice knowing you."

'Stupid kid,' he thought.

Tamsin and Drew's chemistry simply didn't exist and she simply grins while saying. "I AM A SNAKE TOO, didn't you heard a word i say? I bet you didn't because I said the magic was harmless but here you are acting like a coward. I can cut them all if you wish, I have no problem with that, I just need to get my hand on the stem and the rest is nothing." She then looks at Merlin. "You will help me too right? What if I turn into a booger?"

Merlin laughed, this woman was crack and couldn't imagine how she and the headmistress were even friends but they were. "I will help you, and if you turn into booger, I will let the doggie lick you and eat you." He looked at Lee and grins.

After listening to Lottie's comment about being naked Merlin couldn't help to say. "We will take pictures and sell them for a good price." He laughed and added. "I am obviously joking, I am sure you will be fine. I have a robe on my bag too, we can trow it at you."

((sorry though Magnus ran! editing it now)) Outfit Not Found Lottie couldnt help herself she made a 'after you' gesture to Magnus. She couldnt let the dumbass go off on his own. "Lions and Tigers and Bears...OH MY!" she sang and started to walk.

Magnus shrugged. "Its not like I don't know what's in the forest. And I'm a werewolf. We're 'ard to kill. Sides, trained auror, picking flowers. Seriously...fun." Was it because he had been in Gryffindor or because he was a werewolf and part of him loved the idea of adventure? He edged slightly more towards the forest, soon someone was going to have to try to hold him back because he was chomping at the bit.
