"No, no, no licking," Drew laughed playfully at Mags. "Down, wolfie," he teased. He grinned as he watched Lee dog and Dodger frolic together. "Ahh so jerky is your weakness hmm, Lee?" he smiled. Drew was glad to see that everything was working out and hoped this meant they could all be friends now. He called Dodger back to him and petted Kippers again. "Thanks, Mags," he smiled as his friend offered a waffle. "Who am I to turn down waffles when they are offered?"

Lee dog gently opened his mouth when he smelled the jerky and began eating it, shifting up to his normal form halfway through.

Charlotte critter slid down onto his shoulders and waist, but he was careful not to drop her.

"Thanks, Magnus," he said through bites. He looked at Drew and smiled, still munching, and nodded.

Outfit Not Found Charlotte took the box easily in her paws and suck her face in. When she emerged she was higher up then before and was chewing on a banana flavored bean. She looks back in to the box and like any critter, dug out the things she knew were "bad" or didnt like, letting the beans slide down to Lees shoulders and face. Her tail had gone around his waist again. She was enjoying herself way to much.

"Didn't realise you were an animagus Lee. Guess that explains why I didn't pick up another scent, all i smelt was dog and you 'ad Kodi with ya." He smiled. "Make sure to lick Drew next time, 'e missed out and looks a bit jealoous of the lack of attention." Magnus' eyes sparkled with mischief knowing Drew would hear. Magnus snickered at Charlotte's antics.

Drew had to grin at Charlotte digging through the box of flavored beans and discarding some. "You're smart, Charlotte. Some of those things are just vile!"

As Lee changed back, Drew grinned at him. "I'll have to remember that," he said and then added mischievously, "you make a cute pooch, Lee."

Lee sighed as the beans rained down from above, but he kept munching his jerky. He wasn't unhappy he just hoped none were sticking to his beard, or coat collar fluff.

Lee snickered. "Thanks, Drew. Can't seem to do anything small, though."

She churred hearing Lee sigh and looked down at him her eyes slitting a bit. She leaned forward and stuff a buttered toast bean in his mouth. She looked over at Magnus and could see he got it and chuckled a bit at Drew.

She then looked back at Lee and motioned with her paw a up sign to signal for him to be prepared because she was going to shift.

Hearing Magnus, Drew stuck out his tongue at his friend. "Watch it, wolfie," he said with a smile. "I'll find a spell to create fleas if you don't behave."

Giving Lee a smile, he said, "Well large can still be cute. Maybe it's because you're not small as a human."

Lee accepted the bean ( buttered toast did not go well with jerky) and nodded, looking over his shoulder. "You got a good grip..?" he asked.

"I have considered that, Drew, and I think that's why all my dogs are extra large," he said grinning, looking back at the boy.

"Eh now, you can't give me fleas, they'll fall off me when I shift back... and then you'll also 'ave to sleep with one eye open cos I'll get you back, little boy. And then I'll also refuse to be your bean detector Drew, can smell the flavours too," Magnus said. "Can I 'ave that cinnamon flavoured one? The smell is driving me batty." He sniffed again..."Wait there's two cinnamons in there." Then he paused... "All your dogs? Lee? You mean you turn into more than one?"

She carefully readjusted her tail and shifted up. Lee was a toughie...just seemed to adjust for her as she set on his shoulders.

She gently patted the underside of his chin with the palm of her hand. "You ok still? I can get down if ya want." she looked concerned.

"Thanks for the beans Mags. Seems ya got a cheeky batch! But there are some good ones." she looked at his bird. "Is she new?" having not met his other pets she could not be sure.

She nodded in agreement with Drew. "Large is cute...as long as he gives me fair warnin! He didnt tell me about the biggun' we saw earlier...scared the bejesus out of me!"

She shuddered. "ARGH!!! fleas suuuuuck!!! So glad I have a charm. Got em once playing in the trees...Never again!"

Lee nodded at Mags. "Mhmm," he said.

He looked up at Charlotte. "You are fine, no worries. Well...last night was...unexpected. I usually have better control than that."

Drew had gently lifted Kippers down and fed her part of the waffle so she wouldn't feel left out of the treat department. As Magnus teased him back, the older boy, feeling playful himself, said, "Little boy?? Me? Did you...??" He turned a pretend shocked look at Lee and questioned, "Did he really just go there??" With a half pounce, he caught Mags in a playful headlock and roughed up the boy's hair. "I'll show you little boy," he teased.

Merlin stare at the scenes from afar, the guest was about to meet him and he stepped out for a moment but could see everyone, and everyone acting like complete fools! "I always have to miss the best things." he shook his head while he waited.

Charlotte nodded and handed the cinnamon ones to Magnus. "You want the cinnamon toast ones too? Sometimes i wonder where they get the idea for these things."

She smiled down at Lee. "Well arent you just a Buff Cookiemug!" and then nodded. "Yea...that was spooky...but knowing its you know will help."

She then realized. "Ah shoot! Im sorry if y'all smell like sweets now!" she facepalmed herself. "Got so excited being in my animal form I plum forgot ta warn ya!" She shrugged looking back into her beans. Lees jerky smelled good...but she didnt want to sneak some from him.

"No prob." He nodded, "Bird's new. Her name is Ginger and that's Kippers on Drew, trying in vain to get more pets." "Thanks," he said taking the candy. He shook his head. "Nah don't like those, but thanks."

"Cool, didn't know you could do more than one type. Have you been able to for long?"

Drew caught him in a headlock and gave him a noogie and Magnus laughed. Of course he was younger and smaller than Drew, which is why the "little boy" comment was amusing to Magnus. "Merlin, hellllpppp," he said laughing. THey knew he could break free but he wanted to include Merlin in the action if he was so inclined.

Merlin laughed and whispered. "I would help, but the woman is finally approaching, you can probably smell her and hear her by now."

Lee nodded at Magnus's question. "Yep."

Lee chuckled at the boys roughhousing, and absently handed some jerky up to Charlotte. "Buff cookie mug, hmm..?" He grinned. "Thank you."

He noticed that Merlin had returned, and turned to see if his prefect was ready to start the adventure or not yet.

Not long after a lady wearing all black, and black hair approached the group, she had fire colored eyes and a strange eyeliner. Wand in hand she got nearer which scared a few students that started backing out of the group.

“Relax little ones, I'm not going to hurt anyone...unless they deserve it.” She laughs loudly but no one else did so she stopped suddenly and tried to smile naturally. “Hello, I'm Tamsin Ripkouski and hopefully you will be all assisting me today for a very interesting mission.” She looked at Merlin and signals him to get close. “Merlin will be assisting us as well, since he was named captain by the headmistress herself. Now, I know you are all wondering what are we doing here?” A few students nod, others just looked a bit scared. “First of all let me say a bit about myself, like I said my name is Tamsin and I'm an auror of the Ministry of Magic and once was a student of Hogwarts, like all of you and I'm proud to say I was a Slytherin like Merls, you don't mind me calling you that right?” She laughs a bit and continues. “Now, my mother's birthday is near and I want to gift her something special that reminds her of my deceased father who also studied here. While in school he used to gift her black flowers, they grow in the Forbidden Forest and are a bit hard to find, especially for an adult because those flowers can only be seen by underage people and that's why I need you all to be my eyes while I will be your protection. Doesn't that sounds wonderful? I know my way around the forest pretty well, and I hear so does Merlin apparently, so we should be safe – no one needs to worry, the headmistress would never put any student in danger, but I assure you it will be an unforgettable experience!” She was looking way too excited. “So who's with me?”

Merlin interrupted her before she continued. “Alright there are a few things you all need to know about the black flowers, first of all we need to collect two dozens or twenty four flowers, sounds easy but it isn't because they mostly grow in humid places so we must enter deep enough to find little rivers and maybe a lake that is a bit farther away. There is no need to get scared because they do grow anywhere and we may find them before we reach the lake. Since they grow all year we won't have problem with the weather not letting them grow. Now another important thing is that they possess a magic that once is cut from the stem is released and this magic has random effects so no one knows what will happen once it is cut.” He saw big eyes staring at him and continues. “No need to worry since all the magic is completely harmless, it may produce a few side effects but all are temporary and will only last a few hours or maybe a day or two at the most. The flowers are black, obviously, and are of the size similar to a Carnation but even when they have a good size, because of the color it is a bit hard to see. If there are any questions now it's the time because we are leaving in a few minutes.”

Tamsin step forward and clapped her hands once. “Now that I have your attention we need to speak attire, I thought it was explained no one should bring robes, sandals, or skirts so those of you wearing those this way so we can magic you in something suitable.” She did a few wand movements and the clothes of the students begin to change.

Merlin smiled since it was a very cool sight for him so while she did that he added the last words. “If no one has any more questions we are leaving immediately before it gets dark and we can't see the flowers, but if it gets late, we can always use our wands for light.”

"Nope, no one to save you," Drew teased Magnus. "You know us Slytherins have to keep the smartaleck little Ravens in line," he said giving Mags one more noogie before releasing his friend. He loved this...this feeling of belonging...of being a part of the Hogwarts family. It was what he'd always dreamed of.

As soon as Drew released Magnus a woman appeared and began talking about their foray into the forest. Drew frowned slightly. Regardless of the assurances it sounded a bit risky to him, especially the part about the flowers giving off magic that no one knew exactly how it would effect a person. In the case of their group, most of the students weren't even fully human. He raised his hand and said, "Merls? I've got a few questions."
