"Okay," he said nodding. Taking the earring he smirked and with a droll voice "oh look, even my colour." He pinned it inside his pocket. "All right. I'll be back soon."
He gave Magnus a hug. "Be good kid, listen to Tamsin, okay." He looked over at the other kids, gave Tamsin one more look of concern. Magnus nodded. "Be safe, Paul."

Paul hoisted himself on a threstral and they were gone. Arriving back at the cave, Paul trekked back to the section Tamsin was found in and the adjacent room. There was a lot of dark magic around and the auror shuddered. He could feel it creeping around like hundreds of little ant—prickling the short, fine hairs on his arms. With pursed lips, he began the task of lowering the barrier.

(all that want to join, don't want to ping and ping-lol)

"I'm sure it would look cute on you." She smirks. "Careful Paul, don't blow anything."

Merlin woke up shivering, the clothes he had were not very warm so he decided to summon some clothes from his room and changed into them behind a tree.

With his hoodie on he felt warmer and as he smiled to himself a moving light caught his attention so he follow it. "What is it?" He wondered and followed the dust like light moving quickly around, it went up to a tree and he climbed and climbed for a while until he found inside the tree trunk a hole of light. "Oh wow..it's beautiful!" His heart danced for an instant and was so trapped in the moment that didn't even noticed when Paul left and couldn't say goodbye. His eyes enchanted by the beauty and the fluttering wings of the fairies. "Hello" He managed to say. "I'm Merlin and I've search for fairies for years! I'm sorry to be a bother." The fairies surrounded him and looked like they were dancing so he laughed and stare at them. Slowly he was carried down, floating until he was on the ground again and put to sleep so he would forget where he found them.

Tamsin placed more protecting spells around the area and make sure all the students were there, she counted them and nods. "I hope I'm not forgetting anyone." Without Paul there she was getting anxious especially since she was expecting to be banned by the centaurs any minute, yet Arrow was nowhere to be seen.

Magnus saw the flower whilst everyone was distracted and plucked it without thinking. Suddenly he transformed into a horrifying...ly cute half human, half rabbit. Outfit Not Found He hopped over to Tamsin and have her the flower.

((ooc yes the weather has gone crazy everywhere I think! Hope everyone is staying safe! LOL no problem with Paul being secretive/not knowing. I just kind of made it up that Drew was from Virginia because I've wanted to go there for years...all the history and horses, yep I'd be good :D but as far as naming a town or something, forget it...the state will have to do lol. Same with vague area of the border of England and Scotland. And you are so not a freak! playfully bops you ))

Drew grinned at Paul's smile and the way he waved off Drew's apology. No wonder Magnus likes this guy, Drew thought to himself. He's awesome in multiple ways. As Tamsin begin to fret and then sent Paul back to the cave, Drew listened and watched as the man left on one of the thestrals.

Drew's eyes widened as Magnus picked a flower and became...rabbit boy! Bursting into laughter, Drew called, "Bunny!" in a voice that tried to imitate an excited little girl. Dodger backed away from the giant rabbit and gave a startled bark.

Lee watched Paul get on a thestral and leave. The horse was beautiful to behold as it flew, and part of him soared with it, then he grounded himself, and looked about. Tamsin looked worried, and seemed to be quite on the alert. Lee had hoped they were safe enough where they were, and tried not to let her unease disturb him. To distract himself, he pulled out his phone and began playing Word Cookies on it.

Magnus smiled and his rabbit ears twitched. "Yeah, just worried about what's going on," he said to Drew. He flashed a look at Tamsin. "Both of them are really worried." It was then that Magnus noticed how young Lee looked... wait...when and how had that happened? Why didn't he notice?

Meanwhile: There was a crack, a hiss and sizzle and the wards spelling the room finally collapsed. Paul took a few moments to sweep the room for extra “surprises” before stepping in and investigating. After all, it wouldn’t do to discover a booby-trap.

On the cave wall was a map of the area with the location of every trap. Below that was a list: Wand: Location unknown Cloak: Harry Potter Resurrection stone: Guarded by centaurs

Pulling scroll of parchment paper out from his coat, he tapped the map and copied it and the list as well, then rolled the scroll up again and tucked it back in his coat. How could this person or group get in and out of the cave without being seen? he wondered. That question was bothering him a lot actually. It had to be a single person…especially since there was a definitive lack of tracks—a lot less than there should be. Transfiguration into an animal? An unregistered animagus? He looked on the wall for prints—just in case. Not finding any prints and with a sweep of his wand, he found no trace of anything hidden. It was time to head back to the group and report to Tamsin his findings and then find the centaurs; for they needed to be warned. He turned and made his way back out of the cave.

Lee heard a weird sound and looked up. Charlotte was still fine, so he looked around and saw..his mouth dropped open, a Mags-it...he looked like he was part rabbit now. 'I wonder if he will chase himself, ' he thought. Then he shrugged, and went back to his game. 'I am SO not touching those flowers,' he thought.

Magnus tried to look annoyed but giving anyone an annoyed look when you were a giant rabbit didnt really work. "You okay Lee?" Magnus asked.

Biting back another laugh as Magnus' ears twitched, Drew nodded and tried to focus on the situation, not his friend temporarily being a bunny. "yeah, they are worried," he agreed and then glanced around and added quietly, "which is a bit weird since we were supposed to be safe here according to Arrow. I wonder what Paul will find at that cave? There have to be some clues and he's sure to find them. I get the feeling he's not going to rest until we figure things out."

"Aurors are basically like cops...yeah they don't like an unsolved puzzle."

"Far cooler than any cop I've ever known," Drew commented with a smile.

"I think so too. I mean 'e's a little crazy but mostly 'e's just...Paul." Wow, Magnus, he thought, that was informative.

"You mean like crazy in a slightly distracted, yet focused, nice way?" Drew asked to clarify the vibe he'd gotten the short time he'd been around the auror.

Tamsin took the flower but couldn't help to laugh in front of Magnus for he looked so silly and a wolf turned bunny was just too ironic! "Oh, now you will eat yourself?" She couldn't stop laughing but was trying to pretend everything was fine when it surely wasn't. "Oh I'm sorry Magnus, but really..a bunny."

Tamsin went to find Merlin's bag just to find the boy snoring and dressed with a funny hoodie. "A puppy? What is this? A pet shop?" She put the flower away and counted how many they had so far. "1..2.." She sighs "Eight, not even a dozen." He face was sad but sighs knowing they were not in position to look for more flowers now. She looked back at Merlin and smiled. "Sweet dreams."

Observing the cave was a man, but he observed in another form, a sweet innocent bee, ok not that innocent but a bee. He saw when Paul arrived and was not letting him out with his things by any chance so he waited for his moment to strike, and not exactly to sting him.

Lee looked up and over when he heard Magnus say his name. He tried to keep a straight face. "Yep," he said quietly, then looked down at his phone again and snickered.

"Er sure," Magnus said with a grin.

"I 'ope I don't, that would be painful," the boy said with a laugh to Tamsin. He nodded to Lee and left the boy alone.

------- Meanwhile: The thestral was still there, thankfully. Paul heard some bees buzzing. Tamsin meantioned bees. With an uneasy feeling he climbed onto the winged animal and they started taking off. As they rose, though, Paul saw a figure, he moved to cast a protection spell but the figure’s spell hit first. Where had the figure come from? The bee? Paul found himself hurtling towards the forest floor. His scroll with the findings fell out of his coat as he fell. He would be thankful for his coat’s shields later but now he hit the ground hard—and then the darkness of unconsciousness.

The empty threstal returned to Tamsin looking spooked.

Hearing the beat of wings, Drew looked up. Spotting the riderless thestral, he said, "Shit!" He was on his feet and heading toward the animal without a thought. The thestral was spooked and stretched out its neck to bite at Drew and the boy reacted out of habit from dealing with Fleet when he was in a foul mood. "Do it and your treats are gone," he warned sternly. The thestral snorted and stomped but Drew approached slowly and cautiously. Speaking softly, he managed to calm the beast even as his heart was beating like a drum. "Where is he?" he said soothingly as he patted the thestral. "Where's Paul? What happened?" A whinnied half squeal was his answer. Drew continued murmuring to the animal trying to gather information.

She felt there was something wrong. "Guys. Something happened. There's something I haven't told you all because I just recently learned it about myself. I'm an empath, which means I can feel when things are off. I don't know what it is but it's not good." Millie bit her lower lip. She wasn't sure if anyone would take her seriously, especially since she had been quiet for much of the trip. (sorry for the double ping)

Tamsin tried cheering Lee up, but knew she was not his favorite person, still she tried. "So..you want to play catch Lee? I have a branch." Lee looked at her a bit blankly. "Dogs like chasing sticks."

Suddenly a thestral arrived to their hideout and looked nervous, it was the same one that left with Paul but the man was nowhere near it. "Where is he? Paul?" She called trying to see if by any chance he jump off it but he was not there." Her eyes grew wide, what should she do? If an auror like Paul was taken what can happen to the students? "Alright everyone we need a plan and we need it now. I need to go find Paul because something happened since he didn't return, and I need to keep you all safe so...I think it is better if you stay here where you have shields, a secluded place, and hey you have the Ford Anglia what more can you wish for, right?" It was a joke made out of fear. "So, does everyone agree?"

Paul was taken to where the speeding bees hive was, he was tied with magic and surrounded by the bees that were controlled by the man. He looked like a total idiot and you wouldn't think he was a bad guy at all, but he had bad intentions and not much patience.

"Now, now you..wakey wakey." He wake Paul with a sting from a bee. "Does it hurt? Of course it does! HAHAHA! They feed on magic and by the time you get out of here, you will have no magic in you. You will become like a squib!" He then smirks. "IF you get out of here. Now tell me, why were you snooping in my cave! Who are you and that explosive girl?"
