Merlin smiled when Paul said those words so he decided to say it. "I have a dragon pet, she is called Meolc and she is a white dragon, so pretty that I can look at her for hours. She is quite gentle for a dragon, can't say the same for her dad - he gives me the creeps." The thought of Paul with toys made him giggle. "I don't have many toys, but why would I want a toy when I have the real thing?" He then remembered Spellz. "Hey Tamsin, shouldn't Spellz be back by now? It's been too long since he left with your letter."

Tamsin nods then adds. "If your tiny little owl -is that really an owl?- didn't fainted with fatigue for carrying my letter."

Merlin rolled his eyes. "Of course it is an owl! And he always carries my letters to mom, so of course he can go from here to the castle."

"I bet you only write tiny notes to your mom saying -hi mom, I'm well." She smirks.

"UGH! You idiot! I write long letters! Spellz is important to me, if he is hurt i die!"

"Don't be a dramatic, I'm sure he is fine. Lets give him a bit more time."

Merlin nods and noticed Lottie was hiding and wondered if he could help, yet he was sure if Paul and Lee couldn't, why would he? Still he wanted to try something. "AH!" He looked through his bag and sent her a lemon drop wrapped in a note that said -feel better, please don't be scared you are not alone-

[Edit] (Of course I missed another post) "Thanks drew." Merlin blushed and was surprised to hear him say he saved them. "I only did what I could, I'm not strong or big enough yet." Then he asked. "You scared of heights?"

Drew chuckled and shrugged. "Maybe so," he said with smile. He regarded the younger boy. "You feeling okay?" he asked quietly.

Lee looked up at Charlotte. Ok, she wanted to be left alone, he could understand. So he gave her a small smile, and a little wave goodbye, and walked over to an area where he could sit by himself.

Once there, he remembered he had Charlotte's number, so he texted to her, not knowing if she would pick up or not, but it was worth a try.

"I'd love to have real dragon," Paul's eyes lit up with the idea and then sighed, "but my wife won't let me. Something about not suitable to toddlers..."

Magnus blinked. "Just...i don't know."

"Shell shocked," Paul said, "Cause its not like you guys do this every day... at least I think you don't... but I never went to school so I wouldn't know."

"Yeah I was, but between you and thestrals I think I can handle them now," Drew said with a smile at Merlin.

At Magnus' comment and then Paul's he bit his lip slightly. He wasn't sure what to say or do, but then curiosity got the better of him and he looked up at Paul. "You never went to school?"

She saw the note and the candy. She took it and gave a awkward nod to Merlin in thanks. 'Oh gods...' she just felt so out of place at the moment and tired from her freak out. 'Flowers...' she thought and huffed.

She saw the alert come up on her phone and looked at it.

Merlin understood what his wife meant. "If it makes you feel better, this is a guy that grew up surrounded by dragons. My mom's work never stopped, not even after having me. She works investigating and protecting dragons. I didn't turn out so bad, I think." He smiled, the he looks at magnus. "Hey! Do you think, maybe...could you make a drawing of me as a dragon? I would like to see me, I've only seen a bit of my reflection on a lake. If you don't mind, I can pay for it..like with candies or a nice quill.."

Merlin noticed Lee was alone and trying to get to Charlotte but asked. "You want to try the berries? I picked a lot for everyone. It taste really good if you add them to your water bottle too."

(( OOC was he asking Lee about the berries..? because he had sat down away from the tree, and if so, he would love some, just let me know. ))

"I don't understand why anyone would want a car," Paul said. Then Drew was speaking to him and he shook his head. "Nope. My mother trained me in our home, until I ran away. Then I finished training myself with correspondence course at Hogwarts. First time I set foot in this school was for my N.E.W.T exams."

Paul was leaving Lee and Charlotte be for now. He didn't know them well enough and he thought about what he was supposed to be doing soon. His hand slid through his blonde hair. There were times he wished he knew more--could do more to solve everything at once. Control freak? Never...

Magnus looked up at Merlin with a smile. "You bet I can't...not for payment," he laughed, "but I'll draw your dragon self for free and animate it."

"Oh," Drew said quietly. He looked down, feeling bad that he'd pried.

(( I hope I got everyone...sorry...bit tired today...just making everyone aware...her sweet smell has changed to a chocolaty one due to SOMEONE looking at Paul feeding her an abundance of chocolate. She eats wayyyy to many sweets :) ))

Lottie was moving her thumbs on her muggle device (phone) if anyone was looking back and forth from the strange boy ((Lee who has changed)) and her they seemed to be doing the same thing moving opposite of each other...

(yes it was to Lee- get berries, yum yum)

Merlin was sad to see Lottie so distant but decided to let her rest. He loved hearing he could help Drew with his fear and it made him feel very very special. "I'm so glad I could help some." After listening to Mag say he would make the drawing for free and animated his eyes shinned like stars. "Really? You are brilliant!" He was thoughtful for a moment. "Do you think i should tell my mom? You know about my animagus form?"

"I wonder how a car like this managed to survive in the forest for so long, I mean how long was it since harry and Ron came to Hogwarts? What are they 50?" Merlin laughed. "Because they sure look 50" Merlin smiled at Milli and Emmet and asked. "You guys ate? The berries are delicious and if you don't like them, I have almonds and dry apples."

Merlin looked at Paul and comment. "Well muggles can't use brooms, thestrals, floo powder, apparate, or any other magical transportation so they must use something." He shrugs. "It just happen to be a big piece of metal."

"Why so glum kid?" he asked. Paul shrugged, "My wife wanted me to go to Ilvermorny, she love it there. She was the first person I ever spoke to outside of my parents and house elf. And my father died shortly after he got the dementor's kiss when I was five, so it wasn't like I knew anyone--especially since Mother took me to America. So I ran to Jean, the girl who would become my wife. Barely knew her either. Anyway, I hated the idea of a boarding school. I mean so many kids there... Son of a convicted Death Eater? No, no..." he shuddered.

THere was a stronger scent of chocolate in the air...coming from Charlotte's area.

Magnus waved Merlin off until he was asked if his mother should know. "She loves you don't she? Why would that change?"

"HEY," Paul said indignantly, "I happen to be older than Harry Potter and I am only 42. Nice bloke." He shuddered. "Its a metal death trap. All those cars hurtling towards each other--i can't see how they don't crash. And my wife loves riding in them."

Charlotte had taken off her glasses and repaired the bloody cracked lens, she looked down the the others and wondered why they were so fascinated by a car...guess its the same reason Im fascinated with other things...she sighed and continued to text.

Her tummy gurgled a bit in pain but she ignored it.

Merlin nods. "I know she loves me and she adores dragons, maybe more than me, but would she want a child to be a dragon too?" He was thoughtful. "One thing is loving a beast and be fascinated by it, another is wanting your child to become one." He laughed. "Maybe I got a dragon sickness."

Merlin couldn't stop laughing when Paul protested about the age thing. "Oh my, then you are 52." He giggles more. "I'm sure Mr. Potter is nice, at least he seems nice." Merlin listened and was confused. "I have no idea how a car moves or how it is used by muggles, just know it is a transportation. I rather fly than move on some metal carriage or whatever it is. BUT, that car can fly! Maybe it's cool. Are you cool Mr car?" But the car obviously didn't reply. "I bet the car must be wondering why we are here..oh wait, cars can't think..right?"

Lee set down his device, and dug into his bag. He pulled out a wrapped peppermint candy and his wand, then floated the candy over to the tree where Charlotte was sitting. Then he put his wand away, picked up his device and went back to using his thumb on it again.

((Ooc well guys I am done for the night sigh just lost power here and my phone is nearly dead too. Stupid storms.))
