Poor Charlotte was overloaded and the father in him wanted to stay and comfort but there was no time. "We'll be back," he proclaimed,"I swear it! That's my thoughts Drew, lets find out. Come." He gave Merlin a pat once both where on and they took off.

(( sidenote, I misread I think I swear wither Tamsin or Paul or Merlin said all the little spiders would tell on us for where we are. Thats why she sent up the flares. but logically in this situation Id think she isnt the only one scared.))

EDIT Her eyes were slit and her teeth were bared. She kept wringing her tail but was starting to look more feral by the minute.

((she cant help it...shes resorting to a survival mode))

Drew gave Paul a nod and called, "Mags! Take care of Dodge for me please." Then he was on Merlin's back and headed toward the thestrals.

Arrow gave Charlotte a leaf to chew, according to him it will make her relax. "Not to worry, it won't make you sleep. You surely know this one, it's Basil."

Merlin was on his way with both Paul and Drew on his back, from above they could see the trees and the spiders, from afar the castle could be seen and a deep longing was felt on Merlin. He never thought he would ever prefer to go to the castle instead of the forest. As fast as he could move, they arrived at the thestrals favorite spot but they have moved a little farther, luckily from the sky they could see them. Merlin thought he might scared them if he landed next to them and looked for a place where he could land, luckily Paul pointed him a perfect spot and he landed quickly and with a hard thump they stopped.

((OOc back from the store, sorry big winter storm coming and had to get kitties food. Thank you for saving Lee, his boggart is acromantulas and he couldn't help himself ))

Lee was encased in a bubble. He couldn't get out and run away, and was freaking out. He was howling and clawing and just frothing at the mouth, the whites of his eyes showing.

Magnus clung to the dog for comfort. He was in shock. Too much had happened too fast for him to process.

Paul was happy to see the sight of the horses. "Okay Drew, you're up. let's see if we can get these guys to the rescue." He slid off Merlin and waited on baited breath. "Please work," he said with a mutter.

Tamsin saw the poor dog struggle but was sure the guy will run away again if she set him free. "Don't worry Lee, soon they will come with the flying horses, ok? Then i will set you free, but for now...you stay there and be a good dog. We'll look after Charlotte."

Lee managed to comprehend some of what Tamsin was saying, then his eyes rolled up in his head and he fell still. One foot twitched a little, then he didn't move. His breathing was labored but steady.

Charlotte let the centaur give her the leaf. She chewed on it but started pacing. She kept muttered defensive and offensive spells quietly under her breath, NOT CASTING, just muttering as if she was running through them all. She felt bad for Lee but he was contained for the moment. She picked back up her tail and begin wringing it again. her wand still in her hands and muttering.

((OOC: What did I do? lol I changed Fable to Charlotte, did I made another mistake? It's 1am what do u expect?))

Knowing time was of the essence and that Merlin was worn out, Drew slid off as soon as they landed. But the boy also knew that you didn't run to horses and spook them. Going as slowly as he could, he began to hum a soft, soothing melody that he used with Fleet when his horse was being shod to keep him from getting restless. He could see the thestrals and stopped a moment to gauge their reaction before moving forward again, a step at the time. One of the creatures raised its head and regarded him. Speaking softly, Drew began to tell him how beautiful he was, again just as he handled Fleet. When the thestral gave a little snort and tossed his head, Drew eased his hand into his bag and took out a meat sandwich. The bread he dropped back into the bag, but the meat he held in his palm as he would an apple for a normal horse...and prayed he'd get the same result and not be left with no hand. The thestral looked warily at him, then nipped the meat off and stood chewing it. In a low voice, Drew spoke to the creature in a language his Mum called gypsy talk. the boy had never really understood it, but it just was natural for him. The thestral nodded and bent its front legs, allowing Drew to mount it. Then with a whistled chirp as he'd used with Fleet, the boy signaled the rest of the thestrals who all came over. Looking at Paul, Drew said, "We're ready when Merls can handle the flight back."

Paul pulled out a potion from the depths of his coat. "Stamina potion Merlin, I think you should take it." He smiled at Drew. "Well done. Okay, hop on one..." He looked slightly back to Merlin, but hoping on the nearest threstral. "Lets go."

((awww blushes thanks ...it comes from being a horse crazy country girl 😄))

Merlin was waiting for Drew to talk to the horses and in his wait, saw black flower, he wanted to take it to Tamsin and forgot all about their magic, with a claw he took it as carefully as he could and was turn back to a boy. He tried to shift but couldn't then he started crying out loud. "I'm naked! I'm butt naked in the forest! I have nothing to wear! I can't let the girls see me naked! Ok they already saw me but not again!" In his desperation he found a large leaf and made his best to cover his parts. "Am I covered?" he asked Paul but the auror only laughed. "Don't laugh!" Once Drew came with the thestrals, he mounted one and said to Drew. "I grabbed a black flower for Tamsin." That was all he needed to say, Drew laughed and they were in the air flying straight to their friends.

Paul rolled his eyes but inspite of everything he did laugh. With a wave of his wand a pair of boxers plopped themselves on the boy. Followed by trousers and a jumper. "I'm not good with shoes, Sorry. On the horse now, please"

((LOL poor Merls!!! That is too funny . Not going to be a pleasant trip back for you either, riding astride a thestral naked snicker))

Drew gave his mount a nudge and with a beat of the mighty wings, they took off. This is more like it, the boy thought to himself. Forget brooms! Dragons and some sort of winged horses were all he planned to fly on from here on out!! He flew with Paul and Merlin back to the others.

(( Oh ya!! I loved the "gypsy talk" too! I like donkeys and the big biiiiiig horses but the middle ones and me...well Ive always been a bit skittish around them nods But I loved it! Nik is going to be jealous you got to grow up near horses..he loves them!

Lottie turned her slit eyes to the flapping of wings and raised her wand in the direction...She growled and hissed a warning looking a bit...well...crazed? ((LOL YAY SURVIVAL MODE!!))
