There was an explosion and Paul's stance went to full alert. It was in the direction Tamsin and the wolves went. Damn it! He didn't have legions of house elves with him... or threstrals and honestly he wouldn't think of it. No, he was thinking of going and going NOW! The kids... he weighed the options. For one, that was putting lives of the kids at risk. But not acting could cost other lives. With quick thinking he said, "Okay, all of you, listen up," Paul commanded, "Charlotte! WAIT PLEASE!" He called. "I am taking control. We are going on a rescue mission NOW. Okay everyone take this." He reached in his pockets and started throwign buckles at them. He leivated one to Charlotte. "Put it on, its a protective shield charm! NOW do not get out of my sight, and do what I say! Everyone, run--but watch your feet. We need to be fast. Anyone peeing still?" He looked and everyone was done. "Okay move out! STAY WITH ME. " He started at a run. They caught up with Merlin quickly though and Paul handed him one of the buckles. "Put it on damn it."

Lee caught the buckle and attached it. Then he leaped out of the tree, shifting in mid air and landed on all fours in full dog. He took off running toward the explosion.

Merlin put on his device and stayed with the group but what he really wanted to do was fly to her rescue. "I hope she is ok, she has to! She has to." Merlin have grown to like her lots, even when he was angry with her before, all that was gone at this moment and all he cared was to find her and find her safe.

Okay, he didn't know Lee could do that... new asset, excellent.

"She will be, kiddo," Paul said, "hurry, but don't leave me again damn it. Not gonna risk you either, got it?!"

Charlotte was flying through the branches as fast as she could. She swore at herself because she knew her boots were slowing her down. She heard Merlin down below just behind her and risked a glance when she saw the shine of a buckle floating next to her. She grabbed it shoved it into her pocked and kept moving her heart beating hard in her chest.

She slowed down just enough to use her wand to undo the buttons on her boots and let them fall from the tree. She tried to get out a "watch out below" but her voice was quieter then she expected and a bit raspy. She moved to using all 5 (including tail) limbs to move as fast as she could to get to Tamsin. 'Please dont be dead...Please dont be dead' she thought.

Tamsin managed to take the rocks off her but her legs were badly hurting. "Ugh, just great." Little by little she managed to move one with the help of her hands and thought she had one bone broken. She tried healing herself and even when she did, she wasn't feeling strong enough to finish the spell so she started falling asleep.

Outside she could hear noises from afar so far away, but before she was gone she saw a face getting closer to her.

Merlin was desperate and hope Arrow was there with Tamsin and that the explosion was not dangerous but he knew it was bad, it was strong, even the earth shook and the birds fly away. "can't we go faster? This is so slow!!!!"

Paul was practical and he was proud of the teens. They knew the score and were moving fast. He would use their abilities if he thought they weren't going to be harmed. An auror always uses what he could. Still he wasn't going to take unnecessary risks either.

"Unless one of you can shift into a horse or something, this is as fast as we can go, Merlin. I can't apperate there without knowing what I was going into--that'd be foolish."

((OOC I figured I would get there first...but I dont want to post and step on anyones toes...so I need direction if its alright or not, Charlotte can see at a distance because of her eyes, but I need to know))

Lee made his way quickly to the explosion site, then paused to appraise the situation.

(OOC: Ok here is Merlin's secret out))

"You want a ride? I don't know if I can carry everyone but I'll try!" Merlin concentrated and didn't try to hide his transformation this time, it was faster than before, but still it hurt to some degree. His skin turned into scales stronger than steel, his teeth changed into fangs bigger than any common beast, and on his back two large silver wings the shape of a bat. His nostrils released smoke and as soon as he finished his transformation, he grabbed everyone and fly away. he didn't care if they were scared, he was Merlin - the dragon but still he was the same just faster..and bigger. Still Merlin was a small dragon, but bigger than any of them. The weight of everyone made his slower but still it was faster than their previous method.

(OOC: Fable if you want to go ahead of us, is ok))

Paul saw the boy shift and his eyes went misty. "You are beautiful, kid," he said as he got everyone on and jumped on himself. He didn't like that some where already there, but he hoped they were waiting for him. "I've loved Dragons since i was a little boy. Damn cool."
Magnus knew, though he didnt' say anything. And soon they arrived.

"Everyone be careful and stay together okay?"

Drew had taken to the trees with the others, but only after leaving Dodger at the base of the one he had selected. The dog curled up in a hollow part and rested his head on his paws. His master had told him to stay and be quiet. Both those commands were familiar to Dodger as he and Drew had roamed the woods both in Virginia and near the manor home in England together and many times the boy would take to the trees to get a better view of deer, foxes, and other wildlife, leaving Dodger at the base of the tree. Even though Dodger was used to it, Drew wasn’t. Never before had he been in such a dangerous situation in the woods. He pressed his back against the trunk of the tree he was in and waited quietly. The tension in the air was so thick that it felt like a weight pressing him down and the boy swallowed again and again trying to relieve his dry mouth. Then Paul appeared. Drew looked over at Magnus and grinned. So this was his friend’s friend that he’d heard about. Waiting from his limb, Drew called a hello to the Auror along with the others. He didn’t look crazy, Drew thought to himself. He seemed pretty nice to Drew. When Paul mentioned fighting with magic, Drew bit his lip. He hoped that if it came to that that he wouldn’t do something totally stupid that would endanger them more or cause one of his friends to give him up as a lost cause for his lack of skills. As the explosion shook the ground, Drew climbed down the tree. He took the buckle Paul gave them all and went running off with the others. Merlin’s transformation was the stuff of legends, but before the boy had time to admire his friend in awestuck wonder, he was swooped up. And his fear of heights…seemed to vanish in the wonder of it all. For just a moment he was able to forget that they were flying straight into danger.

(OOC I am sorry, my lack of description sucks! I always have trouble with that.) (OOC Sorry for the delay, was putting BBC Merlin on Netflix for mom. lol))

They approached a cave when they could see smoke still coming out of it, so they figured that was the place of the explosion. Merlin was tired, he never carried anyone before and was also stressed thinking on their reaction. He decided to stay as a dragon in order to protect the group if needed, he surely was stronger than in boy form.

He waited for Paul to give them permission to enter but was desperate to run inside.

"Lee, Charlotte,"Paul said "Sense anything?" He assumed they checked it out already. He was doing some quick work with his wand. "Okay, lets go in cautiously everyone... I don't know what we'll see. If you have a skill that is an asset, tell me, and we'll use it if we can okay?"

He liked that Merlin was remaining dragon. Smart. Same with Lee remaining dog. "Lee, Magnus, Charlotte, let me know if you smell or sense something okay? Merlin you too. Just, er, don't singe anyone okay." Slight joke. They entered in cautiously.

(( I would have done something else, but Im waiting for someone to give me direction because Im not sure what Im supposed to do. I know what I would have done in a different gaming universe. But I have no clue. ))

((OOC how tall is your dragon..? can it fit in this cave..? do we hear any sounds coming from the cave or smell that anyone is nearby...? is there sounds of dangerous creatures heading toward them, attracted by the explosion..? ))

(OOC: because I suck at this, please excuse me I'm fairly new at rpg and I always just let my mind create what it wishes at the moment. lol Here is what details i have: Creatures are not attracted to the explosion, on the contrary they flee, Merlin is a rather small dragon since he is a young dragon, still he is a dragon so he isn't tiny. He is taller than the entrance and that would probably just let his head enter to a point, but since the explosion opened up the place, he can enter a little, not whole. Inside the cave is Tamsin and Arrow- she is still fainted and he is trying to wake her. On the open wall there are clues that lead to Grindelwald followers, no one in specific. You can find any clue you want, maps, letters, idk. Ok hit me now, for my lack of skills. lol))

(( OOC I understand, its just hard for fable and I because we are used to things being handled much differently, especially when it comes to 'combat' type situations. The st describes the scene, people who move quicker go, then the next person and so on down the speed line, so everyone gets a turn. So its hard when you are used to that sort of thing, hence the tons of questions and not much going on.))

1. Charlotte saw the smoke and went running into the cave she was going to attack the figure but at the last moment noticed it was a familiar face. As she would not have waited for Paul ((sorry, not all kids listen))

4. Raven have your auror lead his group

This is my suggestion, the actions would move down the group based on the time of arrival))
