That's good that there has been interest in the Switch! Nintendo is so nostalgic for a ton of people and it looks like some decent titles will be released, and that's with the smaller selection you typically know about when an console launches. That Odyssey game looks like it would be cool, but I don't think it releases until next year? (I could be completely wrong lol.)

I bought my Xbox One stand-alone. But for the Wii U, I got the Mario Kart 8 bundle and with PS4, I got a bundle that included GTAV and Uncharted 4. However, the difference is that I got both of those consoles years after their release, lol. Course with a bundle, it's usually a deal and I doubt they want a debuting game to already have a deal lol.

I honestly forgot about the downloads. Like the games for Gamecube!? That was such a nostalgic console for me as I loved a ton of games so that would be awesome. Admittedly I never got to finish Super Mario Sunshine cause I let a friend borrow it and she freaking lost it, lol. Lesson learned.

Yeah, hopefully it will do better than the Wii U did. :D

My PS4 came bundled with some games. I think it was just part of a deal with GAME though, not an "official" bundle. I sold them both though. Didn't care much for LBP3, and the other game was Minecraft, which I already have and prefer to play on PC.

Yeah I'm excited about GC games being available through it! I hope they put plenty of titles out. I'd love Eternal Darkness. And Pokémon Channel! LMAO I only got that game to transfer Jirachi to R/S, but it turned out to be a lot of fun! It was such a cute and comforting game. I really miss it and I wish there would be a sequel. It could have been great on Wii U.

I never got to finish Sunshine because I got SOOO STUCK on it. ;o; Better than a friend losing it though, I guess. That sucks!

I'm excited for the new Middle Earth: Shadow of War. It looks pretty awesome. As a PC gamer, it'll be nice to play it at 1440P, maxed out. Though, my 2 Radeon cards are starting to show their age. I might upgrade to the new Vega GPU as well as a Ryzen CPU from AMD.

I'm excited for Sonic Mania the most! I'm really happy to finally play as Tails again! :D While I'm trying to not get too hyped because of incidents like Sonic 06, it look like the developers know what they're doing and aren't rushing the release.

I'm also keeping an eye on Project 2017. I'm not happy to see classic Sonic again (I would rather have a game without classic Sonic since there's already Mania), but who knows. It's too early to tell anything concrete with it.

- It looks like Akiba's Beat is not the carefree, ridiculous game the last game was. That's disappointing... I was excited when I saw your post and looked it up. It just looks like a generic ARPG with a realistic representation of Akihabara and weird dungeons.

I'm curious to see if you ended up getting your Switch and BotW? I imagine you would've by now but lol idk.

Yes! They both turned up on release day. I've been really impressed with the Switch so far, and BotW is amazing. I love the non-linear approach they've taken. It's great to just explore and discover things. And see how many stupid ways you can die. xD

If you can get the Switch, I would do that over getting the Wii U version. Switch BotW looks noticeably better. Plus I've been hearing about framerate drops on the Wii U version.

No GC games available yet. Don't know when they're going to start coming out.

Oh that is good news that they showed up together! Truthfully I'm curious of the little...joysticks (?) like do they feel too small in the hand if you're just using those controllers separate from the tablet??

My Facebook news feed is flooded with BotW content lol, both between people who are currently playing the game and other accounts such as Gamerant. And I've been hearing a lot about deaths as well bahaha the most recent one was an unfortunate snowboarding accident xD I haven't been spoiled of anything, mainly just seen bits and pieces.

I was curious about the difference between how it performs on Switch vs. Wii U. I figured as much. I'm holding off for now since I know I'm going to prioritize Andromeda when it releases in a little less than two weeks, but that also gives me time to decide whether or not I want to get the Switch. I'm so torn. And I figured as much for the gamecube games.

The joycons feel a little strange used separately. You get used to them, but I think they would be awkward for someone with large hands.

Haha! Yeah, there is a LOT of talk about it at the moment. The ways people have died in this game are amazing. xD One of my favourites was someone opening a metal door using a special ability, and hitting themselves in the head with it. LMAO!

There's bound to be a price drop by the end of the year. If you're not sure, maybe wait until a drop happens? But I would definitely go for BotW on Switch, if you're able to.

Oh gosh that's great. I should look up some videos of how people died in that game lol. I tend to be clumsy both IRL and in-game so that would be comical. Other than that, I truthfully haven't heard much about the game. Other than "IT'S GREAT" and "I LOVE IT" but nothing necessarily about the story and whatnot. That is cool that it is more open-world though. Well, that you can explore anyway.

It sounds like a similar situation as the Nintendo Wii, as in finding it in stores right now is nearly impossible lol. I'm noticing it's out of stock just about everywhere, both online and in-store. Truthfully, I could currently afford it comfortably buuuut my fiance and I are actually in the process of buying a home. We've got the contract signed and have a home inspection next week soooo I kind of want to just save for the moment because houses and money lolol. So that's why I figured, I'll play Andromeda for a while and decide in a few months at least whether or not I'd want to buy the Switch.

I'm loving Breath of the Wild! And I've never played a Zelda game before, but wow... it's one of the best games I've ever played. It's definitely become a favourite of mine. :)

I was excited for Andromeda and am trying to remain optimistic, but the animations I've seen thus far and other tidbits of info about it are bothering me a little...

Also super hyped for Shadow of War. I'm gonna ride a dragon.

Haven't gotten to play BotW yet! I have it now though. My fiance decided to buy the Wii U version for me out of the blue so I'm pretty appreciative. I'll get to it. I've heard such amazing things about it though. I'm a huge fan of Twilight Princess so I'm curious to see how I'll like BotW compared to that game.

I totally admit that the face animations are wonky, but it doesn't turn me off from Andromeda. I just laugh when they're a bit ridiculous and forget about it. I wish the animations and graphics were better, but I'm playing the game for the story/characters/etc. so I can look past that. I'm enjoying Andromeda so far. I'm imagining I won't like Andromeda as much as the trilogy, but they're different games so I don't want to compare them too much.

Ahh Shadow of War. Some of my friends are pretty hyped for that game as well. I personally didn't play Shadow of Mordor so I haven't bothered looking into Shadow of War. Not sure if you'd need to play Mordor to really understand the new one releasing?

It has been a while since I've played a Tekken game truthfully! I actually thought 7 had already released but I just looked it up and saw it won't be until early June?

RE7 still isn't working me up like that playable trailer-- besides some of the game's functions, and items, it feels soooo far away from a resident evil game 😱 (i am very slowly going through so many games right now ugh!) um, (in my own personal opinion,) the movies shouldn't even call themselves resident evil- first one was okay, but the rest were flops and don't get me started on the last movie that came out! 😖 5 is really fun to play with someone else on co-op! i was introduced late into the series and haven't even played 4 😅 6 was a train wreck (if you don't count leon's side in that game.) RE sems to have a problem with ACTUALLY KILLING THEIR VILLIANS. like, see them catch on fire, limbs fall off, drown in the waters... NO-OOOPE! you'll find the enemy again in the next scene or two! resident evil spooky house (7) is like that too lol!

have you played andromeda yet? ;_; the whole ordeal with the graphics and people online's pissing and moaning has me a bit hesitant. but my fiance' got it and i have glanced over and seen THE CREEPIEST EYE GLITCHES AND INAPPROPRIATE EXPRESSIONS IN TENSE MOMENTS! xD

oh and i also forgot- doyyy! the first 3 crash bandicoots are being remade! i was thinking about taking a couple extra days of work off to play that with my man when it comes out xD back and forthsies with levels in a nostalgic game is really nice /"3

and out of all of these, persona 5 is taking up most of my time. IT'S REALLY GOOD! (well, a main character is kind of ruining it for me with some borderline reverse harem going on Vv; ) but the game is super atmospheric and quality and it got surprisingly popular and well rated out of nowhere and people who haven't even played the first 4 are really getting into it! ❤ atlus is really good at making games though and their persona series artist has stunning art O ---i'm not even very far into it either (just got to the 2nd dungeon ^^; ) but life has me super busy and i'm trying to play all the wonderful games ;___; hnng!

Because I'm forever living in nostalgia, I'm excited to catch up with games I haven't played that have been out for eons on the 3ds/ds lmao.
